Considering his is MOC, id say he would have got it straight from Mattel. Not really sure why it's a big deal considering the figures been rereleased already |

ITT: people surprised that the founder of the premiere online wrestling figure retailer could possibly have a legally obtained (i.e. gifted) item that they are barred from discussing due to the implications that would follow anyone who isn't the founder of the premiere online wrestling figure retailer obtaining said item.
