Guys
I’m looking to insure some of my rarer pieces, I see a bagged Taker Mailaway go for £1,900 a few months back what would a loose one with the open bag be worth?
Thanks in advance

I doubt anyone would ever pay £700.00 for a loose Taker mailaway.... How much is a loose Bret mailaway worth

The prices for both the Bret and Undertaker mailaway figures are hard to say if they are loose, there really isn't any difference between the mailaway bret and the series 4 purple heart bret figures - i've heard that the mailaway has a slightly darker tan and the glasses are more neon pink (sorry, no pic). Same with taker, there isn't much difference between the mailaway and the series 8 figure. Except, the series 8 taker has dark brown hair and the mailaway has light brown hair.

I can see a clear difference in the 3 Takers. But, not enough difference for me to care to dump hundreds for the mailaway. Now, when it comes to Bret, I could never see a difference between the mailaway and purple heart carded version. Not to hijack this, but don't want to make another thread. Anyone here happen to receive the mailaway of Bret back in 93'? What was your reaction when you got the same figure you probably already had instead of the awesome one in the ad? My mom ordered me all 3, but they ran out of Bret and Taker, so I only got the Hogan, which was fine in the long run once the red cards came out.

I know there are obvious visible hair differences between all 3 Undertaker figures, but no one is ever paying £700 for a loose one
for one thing they will be to skeptical if it's legit and not repainted hair
plus if you spending £700 on a loose figure (which is definitely big boy cheese) then pay a little more for a bagged one.
most don't sell for £1900.00 the one TS mentioned was Graded, which definitely adds much more value.

Unplayed lose + bag, I would pay 350-450 (whatever currency you want lol). Without bag not much less, because it is a small plastic bag and that's it.

A small plastic bag with the p/n printed on it I got the MA Hogan and Hitman back than MIB and personally I really do not see any value in these bags (at least if they come lose, MA Hitman MIB is a different story). They are simple bags and nothing worth to collect. My opinion of course. No offense to anyone who disagrees. :-)

If I was a collector I'd keep the figure displayed in the loose bag.

I cant understand all the replies talking about legitimacy, the original post was asking about value for insurance. You have to look at how much it would cost to replace it, so an average of the recent selling prices would be sufficient to replace it.

Well who the heck would shell out $500+ or so on a loose undertaker mailaway, with a swift paint job on the hair it's easy to fake. The conversation of legitimacy began because TS said his is loose, BUT he has the original bag, which helps a buyer feel more assured of what he's buying. Plus you could never probably get a loose Taker mailaway graded.

I still have the paper they sent me telling me they couldn't fufill my order cause they had run out of stock already....broke my heart as a kid lol. I actually only mainly wanted the Hogan cause I loved how he looked like WrestleMania 9 Hogan in his 'Hulkster In The Bank' cash-in moment against Yokozuna. Minus the black eye lol.
