Ambrose, ever since his return he's felt better in my eyes. Dudes jacked now and if he can get just a little bit bigger I think he could easily be a top heel that cheats but doesn't run from every fight. A real dominant heel, something we don't have much of today.
I only say he should get a slight bit bigger because he's what 6'3 or something along those lines? Before it was weird bc he was scrawny-ish at that height and it threw his look off a bit but now he's damn near evened out and we all know he has the mic skills to run wi5h already and the in ring ability so long as he's not working with lazy people and is given a bit of roaming room to explore his character via promos and in ring psychology. I think he could be a huge star, even bigger than he already is. That's my pick.

You don’t get it?! Really? He had a job to do. Which was to go out and entertain the audience who paid good money to see the show. And all he did was put on what looked like unmotivated walk throughs and not matches. I don’t give a rats a$$ if he was the focal point of the show or just a cog in the wheel. The bottom line is he was being paid to go out and perform at a certain level and he didn’t put any effort into it at all. If I was Vince I would have released him. As for the match with Styles that was probably because it was Styles and he made Ambrose look better than he was. Look at Sandow when he was there the guy should have at least been the Intercontinental or United States Champion for a extended period of time. But he was put into those dead roles...yet he busted his a$$ and got them over every time. Then there was Ambrose the WWE champion and he wrestled as if he was phoning it in inside the ring. He had gotten very lazy as champion instead of elevating his game. It’s early yet but I am hoping with this extended time off recovering from injury he has found the fire he seemed to have lost during his championship run. You should watch his matches again from that era. Listen to his crowd pops and seriously tell us again that he didn’t entertain the crowds. Dean has consistently been one of the most over stars in the company over the past 5 years despite his crap booking. You may not be a fan but to say he’s lazy and doesn’t entertain the fans is simply not true. While I do completely agree with you about Dean, it's a lost cause on PJ...hes an Ambrose hater.

Seth Rollins.
It will almost certainly be Strowman who IS the next champion, but whether he is or isn’t my preference is Seth Rollins. Roman can win it back, or Strowman can somehow not cash in at all, but I would like to see Rollins win the Royal Rumble and defeat Roman Reigns for the title at WrestleMania. Maybe it’s even a Shield triple threat, but regardless Rollins take the title at Mania.

It has to be Strowman, how long can they go having Strowman almost cash in every week? Unless Strowman loses which that would absolutely suck

I’m a fan of reigns and wish they would let him be more natural on the mic. Seth would be the guy I’d like next as champion if I had to choose.

Dean was doing an awesome job. That whole thing after he won the title, got out of the limo, and wasn’t used to being world champ so he forgot it and had to stop the limo. PJ I guarantee was fighting back every urge to mention Deans “punches.”

The only correct answer is Braun. He's young, he's huge, and he's believable. Wwe can parade him around as the top guy and every non wrestling fan will take notice because of his appearance. His age makes it possible to invest in him and see years worth of returns.

That whole thing after he won the title, got out of the limo, and wasn’t used to being world champ so he forgot it and had to stop the limo. PJ I guarantee was fighting back every urge to mention Deans “punches.” Those and that slow as molasses mid rope sling shot clothesline. But his matches while he was the champion he didn’t have the intensity he had prior. Everything looked like it was a walkthrough. Especially when he was doing those corner to corner moves where he would jump/push off the one ring post and run across the ring and hit his opponent in the opposite corner. That push off was supposed to give him “extra” momentum yet it looked like he was walking across the ring. I don’t care how much of a fan base he had from NXT and prior who will support him no matter what while blaming the “Podcast”, “the booking” or “his opponents” for his poor title reign. As much as those could be contributing factors the bottom line is he was in the matches and had every opportunity to bust his ass with his effort and he didn’t. He was just out there going through the motions instead of busting his ass to put on the best match he could. The fire was gone. And like I said in his three appearance since he’s been back (2 RAWS and SummerSlam) the intensity/fire to put on a entertaining match is back and I hope it stays. Because as I have said before when they first came up as the Shield he was my second favorite in the group after Seth, but after they split he became a distant third.

I would say Dolph Ziggler especially now that he has McIntyre in his back pocket but also Ziggler is coming into his own as a heel. Ziggler had a run with the IC Title just now and at this point Ziggler should even be main eventing not just on RAW but in the WWE as a whole. Ziggler as WWE Universal Champion who knows that could actually be the shot in the arm that WWE needs.
Or I would go with Lashley as WWE Universal Champion

Drew McIntyre is another I'd like see win it. Drew has the size, the talent, and the mic skills to be champion. A Spear into a Claymore could be an awesome ending to a championship match.
