Shame as I really like Becky. She's a good babyface a good wrestler and seems someone that could be a merch seller when pushed. WWE seem blind to anyone but Charlotte Rousey or the Bellas though. It's this along with Reigns that made me stop watching WWE. I'm also not a massive fan of the amount of exUFC ppl they are bringing in. Now I just read the results online. When they start making good shows again I will start watching again. Not changing my mind so far. I'm pretty sure, she is a good merch seller at the moment. Plus, she's someone that fans across the spectrum like: men and women, boys and girls, old and young. Her personality is just so likable, and her actual story of getting to the WWE is a great one, she earned the place there. Now I don't hate Charlotte, I like her, but she's better cast when she's a heel. And her story is basically the opposite of Becky, while she did work hard, she had the door opened for her, being Ric Flair's daughter. And the whole scenario of the match makes sense to have her be the one to turn heel too, getting in a match, that really, she should not have even been given the right to get into, and in the process, taking away her friend's chance for a moment she fought for. And then the ending, she prevents her friend from what seemed like the victory, and made sure it was Becky, not Carmella that she pinned to win the match. Everything of the story they wrote, made sense for Charlotte to be walking out as the heel, not Becky. And the fact that they tried to very cheep crap of her trying to blame the fans on Smackdown, shows that. They tried the cheapest of heat grabbers to get fans to turn on Becky, and it still hasn't worked.

It was absolutely silly of him to even engage. We only thought he was a fool, now we know it.
The fact is that Roman, Charlotte, and Ronda are who they want us to cheer, but not who we want to cheer...and it pisses them off to no end. They want manufactured faces who fit their plan instead of who the people want to see.
The horse can only be whipped so many times...but they have forgotten how things happen organically. Everything has to be so planned and sterile now. If something pops up and might eclipse a part of their plan, they have to find a way to suck the fun out of it.
I pointed this out the night Charlotte won to get into the SS match, but I think it was something like Becky has only lost two singles matches dating back to the summer of 2017, while Charlotte has lost more and was off TV while Becky wasn't. If they wanted to force Charlotte into the triple threat...fine, but she should have turned heel on Becky, leading to Becky overcoming her for the emotional win.

I agree with the first half of Road Dogg’s Tweet.
Clearly, Becky is the heel in this situation. Charlotte did nothing wrong. Paige gave her an opportunity, and she won the title fair and square. Becky, fed up and upset over not winning the title and not having a singles match, attacked her friend and changed her attitude completely. The fans being behind her doesn’t change her being a heel in this storyline, plus heels are cheered all the time.
Personally, while I find a heel Becky to be great, I would’ve also liked to see her stay the babyface and capture the title from a heel Charlotte. But at this point the storyline is clearly Becky heel and Charlotte face.

Lets be honest the heel turn has been an epic fail and even Road Dogg can't justify it.

I've never seen a heel turn where the attacker gets a deafening pop while the victim gets booed out of the building. No one wanted Becky as a heel and it backfired big time.

Heels get cheered all the time, especially in Brooklyn which, nine times out of ten, is always going to be a "smark" crowd where they try to get themselves over and toss beach balls around like a bunch of ing morons.

Did anyone see that poll on WWE.com? It asked if you were with Becky the whole time, or only till Charlotte got involved. Last I saw 91% said they were with Becky. Their struggles are not the same. One has been pushed to the top over and over, while the other struggles for attention. I'm sorry, I give them credit for trying, but the crowd wants to love Becky. They want to boo Charlotte. Flair's are natural heels. Give them that. Make it easy for yourself and swim with the current. Bingo. I am loving the way Becky's turn is being 100% rejected by the crowd, actually I am adoring it. The announcers must've felt like idiots Sunday trying to push that heel turn...… Also? there are more natural flowing storylines with Charlotte as a heel. Team Becky ALL THE WAY.

Yeah, Charlotte as a heel could have a great lengthy feud with Becky. And when that is wrapped up, move on to Asuka. A WM rematch could be great for both women. Especially if Asuka gets her win back. Then eventually Charlotte can move to RAW to feud with Ronda. Each of these practically write themselves. As I said, sometimes you need to swim with the current. Because constantly swimming against it, can be tiresome. For all of us. Always Team Becky!!

Becky's outburst was not the actions of a heel she was frustrated that Charlotte robbed her. No one wants a heel Becky and will continue to treat her like a face.

I suppose rejecting and putting down the fans on SDL weren’t the actions of a heel either?

Well since the fans rejected her heel turn at Summerslam Road Dogg had to try and find a way to get heat from the crowd. I fail to understand how the turn at SummerSlam was rejected. They WANTED it. That’s the way wrestling is, we want to see heel turns. Speaking for myself, at WrestleMania I was hoping Asuka would deck Charlotte after their match. I then was hoping Nakamura would deck AJ after their match, and guess what he low blowed him, and I popped with joy. And just because Becky may be justified in what she says about scratching and clawing to get back to the top and Charlotte unfairly getting into SummerSlam, doesn’t make her not a heel. Heels are allowed to have valid claims from time to time.

The only mountain Charlotte has is to not burn her hands when she gets the belt hot potatoed to her so her numbers rise and she's manufactured to be better than she is by having a high title reign count just because of who her Dad is. I will say this. I've been tracking AJ Style's days as Champion, and it's interesting to see that in terms of combined reigns, his two reigns have more than eclipsed the amount of days the Rock's eight reigns as champion lasted. I think it's nice that you win a title, and can hold it multiple times, but I think it's far more impressive to hold it for less reigns but longer spans. For example, Sting is my personal fave, and while I think it's awesome he held the WCW Title 6 times, he only collectively held the title for 250 days. AJ's current reign has eclipsed that. So, yes its nice having multiple reigns, but all I'm going to remember Charlotte for is how fast she lost them. On a somewhat side note, didn't Charlotte's PPV winning streak in singles matches fall to Carmella?Nope. Bayley took that "honor" a long time ago.

Yeah, but I am glad that it appears it has changed in that regard. I actually predicted Charlotte to win at SummerSlam to continue the story of Becky not getting to the top of the mountain. Didn’t necessarily think she’d turn heel, but it works either way IMO.
