It really is a shame that WWE forced guys like Aries and Neville to walk away from the company by disrespecting them by going with Enzo instead. Its all about money in a business. Enzo outsold both in merch. And look where Enzo is now. Aries and Neville would still have been kicking ass for WWE.

WWE should never have split Enzo/Cass. Neville should have never been put on 205 and Aries left NXT early. WWE has a stacked roster, there are too many stars that sit unused because there is inly so much content you can crame into their shows. I think a Fall cleaning is needed, trim the fat, and give us a fresh restart.

I was a huge fan of his King of the Cruiserweights run and honestly thought that would be the highest he’d reach in the company. Not really sad he’s gone though because 205 Live has still been great without him. Hopefully he can go to do something that makes him happy now, anyone that doesn’t want to be in WWE shouldn’t be there.

Look... I loved heel Neville. Even thought he was the WWE MVP for almost a year. I'm devastated he's gone.
But, (without knowing the behind the scene details) I personally wouldn't go as far as to say he was mistreated by WWE. Yes, he deserved the WM pay, but he was still booked to run over the entire division. And in that year of dominance I believe his only losses were to Tozawa & Enzo. And he was even protected in the Enzo loss since Enzo was outclassed and had to cheat. That's a pretty good year. Far better than most talent had in any company had.
I don't know what his real issues were, but I'd be surprised to hear he didn't think he was booked strong.
Regardless, he's going to be okay. He'll be big elsewhere.

It’s was reported by multiple sites that it wasn’t that he felt he was booked poorly. It was that they basically put the CW ceiling on him when he was under the impression that he’d move back to one of the main rosters. It also came down to money. It may have changed since then, but for house shows the WWE would bring the CW Champ and whoever he was feuding with at the time on the road. At most they might bring four with for tag matches but once Neville was done feuding with Enzo, his house show appearances would have drastically gone down and so would his income since he’d be on TV and I front of crowds much less.

Hate to hear that circumstances drove Neville to feel running out his contract was the only option he had left in WWE. Once he found a strong gimmick to match his in-ring skill he became a highlight. No doubt he could be doing great things with the revamped 205 Live now, but he apparently desired more. No hate from me for that. Just such missed opportunities with Neville and Austin Aries.

I don't believe dirt sheets. Until I see him appear at an independent show or WWE.com posts about it, it's not "official."

Because I didn’t see any actual quotes from Neville saying what his issues were.

Because I didn’t see any actual quotes from Neville saying what his issues were. Neville has never been quoted on the events leading up to his waking out that I know of. My guess is that because he was still under contract that he couldn’t talk about it. Multiple “insiders” reported this though. Not an actual quote from him so take it with a grain of salt unless he ever decides to do a shoot interview. I tend to believe it though. In NXT and his first few years on the main roster he was portrayed as a small guy who could hang with the top stars. Heck they booked him in his first few weeks on the main roster to push both Rollins and Cena to the limit. But there was also a rumor at the time that Vince wanted to give him a “Mighty Mouse” gimmick when he was called up. Tells the tale of how Vince viewed him. If there was a CW division in 2015, I feel like Vince would have slotted him there from the get go.

This is great news for Neville and anyone that clams to be a fan of his. After his NXT run it was made clear that on the main roster Vince and company didn't view him as anything more then a mid card talent and after 205 Live started didn't view him even as that anymore and just wanted him to be a nice little cruiserweight. While not the biggest in term of height or the best on the mic he's one of the best in ring talents in the world and during his heel run improved on the mic and was always over with the crowds. He viewed himself as a main event caliber act(which he should be) and the WWE didn't so can't blame him for leaving.
I really hope that Neville joins IMPACT and that he and Austin Aries can feud again but this time in a main event caliber match for the World Title and headling a PPV.Aries/Neville feud and serious of matches without their hands being tied by the WWE system could really create some buzz in the wrestling world for IMPACT and would be nice to stick it to the WWE with how they where treated in WWE.

I can see him popping up on WOS when the no compete clause comes to an end. I would love that!

shame to see him go, hopefully we see Aries and him continue their feud elsewhere. Impact would be smart to jump on it

im sorry but i have no sympathy here, he was given a pretty important role and for years everyone begged for them to do something with the guy and they did. they got him over, he was more popular in the CW division and holding that title than he ever was up to that point
so they wanted to switch it to enzo? so what, titles change all the time.
his attitude towards this was piss poor. you dont think gallows & anderson would like a "better spot"?? of course they do, but they keep on doing what they do because you just never know
neville went from being a midcard joke to a legit star. dont really know what else you expected, pal. so now his spot is plenty opened up for a lot of other guys. and to be honest i barely noticed him gone. sucks it didnt work out but now he can go wrestle with some other people and start appearing at random indy shows

I bet that's really what the issue was here. As long as Vince is in charge he will only see guys like Neville as 205 Live fodder.
