I know I might be jumping the gun here, and 205 Live probably isn’t going anywhere. However, I find it interesting that the last few weeks on RAW they have been featuring the crusierweights in different roles. First Drew Gulak was seen during The Shield brawl last week and then this week and I didn’t think much of it. Then Drake Maverick showed up as the AOP’s new manger which was odd. Now this week Lio Rush was seen in a backstage vignette with Bobby Lashley, and it looks like Lio Rush might be Lashley’s new mouthpiece. Once again I’m probably jumping the gun here, and WWE just wants mouthpieces for certain talents (who could certainly use them), but I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the first sign of the death of 205 Live. Thoughts?

I think 205Live is safe for now. I think they're just trying to integrate newer talent that haven't been featured much on Raw (all the post-CWC guys) so Raw viewers may want to check them out. They're all under contract, so may as well get the most out of them. I know the CW's work dark matches for Raw nearly every week, so they're in the building.

If you actually watch 205 Live then you’d know that it’s not ending by a long shot. Don’t forget that the cruiserweights are exclusive to RAW too so a few appearances won’t hurt the show at all.

I actually DO watch 205 live and nothing about the show would indicate that it wouldn’t be ending in the next couple months. I’m not saying it’s going to be canceled next week, but would I be surprised if this time next year the show isn’t around? No. Last week WWE even dropped the opening they usually have where Drake Maverick runs down the card. Granted the main event of Cedric/TJP wasn’t set, but still, this was the first in awhile that Drake Maverick didn’t run down the card. It may seem like nitpicking, but this is what WWE does. When WWE starts giving up on a brand they make small changes, that to most will likely go unnoticed before ultimately canceling the show. Also canceling the show doesn’t exactly mean the company will get rid of the crusierweight division.

I think the biggest problem they're realizing now about 205 live is that while they initially gave them exposure on Raw to help sway people to tune in to the network shows, they didn't give them much of a reason becauise they didn't let all of these guys show they're personalities. This is almost like a soft reboot of 205 live--done to help show that there are interesting characters on the network.

If a tree falls in the forest, and no-one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? 205 Live didn't even make the top 10 most watched shows on the Network last week. Just because the quality of the show is good doesn't mean it's meeting viewership expectations for WWE. They're a business, first and foremost. Talking Smack was better than Raw and they shut that down. I'm sure it's a cost vs replacement conversation. How much does it cost to create the content of 205 Live and then what would it cost to replace that show with something that would generate more eyes. I don't know those numbers or have that answer. I do find it strange that Gulak, Maverick and Rush have all showed up on Raw and they all seem to be permanent fixtures of that roster. Maybe it's just a timing coincidence, though. I guess we'll find out if we see more of them pop up across Raw and Smackdown. I tend to think 205 Live stays a seperate show at least until October of 2019. If Smackdown is getting a third hour with Fox, then we'll likely see 205 absorbed into the main shows by then. Unless of course it's just consistently under performing with viewership where they have no choice but to shut it down.

I heard some hearsay that they plan to integrate 205 into NXT by next year. Then air the show on Fox Sports. Not sure if there is anything to it, but it sounds promising. But yeah, I kinda had the same thought after Lio Rush showed up last night. Just seemed odd, but interesting.
Also Matt Hardy just hinted at heading to 205 Live. Not sure if he'll be an agent or if he'll be replacing Maverick as GM in a few weeks. Or maybe he was just messing around?
I personally think they need to feature a few of 205's best on RAW every so often. That way fans who aren't watching 205, get an idea of the amazing action they are having at the moment. Doesn't always have to be a 6 man tag match. Why not have Lio Rush vs Kalisto some week? Or Cedric vs Murphy? Unleash your best in a 20 minute masterpiece. And during the match, in the corner just have a small advertisement for 205 Live on the Network. Couldn't hurt.

God, still dreading the idea of a 3 hour Smackdown and the other changes Fox could bring. The show is so good now. But of course when there is a beacon of light blinking in the sky it's only just biding time until it gets Vince's attention to swoop in and gut it.

Well, Mixed Match Challenge is getting an extended broadcast window, which means 205 Live is going to run even shorter pretty soon, at least during MMC's 14 week run. It wouldn't be surprising at all if they were just moving to phase it out.

I'm not sure if he's under 205 pounds. Or in any condition to compete.

I'm not sure if he's under 205 pounds. Or in any condition to compete. It's just in regards to Maverick managing AoP. I don't watch 205

considering it’s finally seemed to catch on and have a good concept running that would be a shame if it were to end.

If Matt Hardy takes over 205 it will be made obsolete. No room for spot monkeys.

If Matt Hardy takes over 205 it will be made obsolete. No room for spot monkeys. Then it’s for the better that Matt doesn’t take it over, since 205 Live is always an entertaining show every week.

If they could have a 2 hour weekly 205/NXT on fox, that would be a godsend for those of us without the network.

I think they're trying to integrate some of the cruiserweights on Raw to give them more TV time. 205 Live seems to be safe even though they should tape it before Smackdown.

I think they're trying to integrate some of the cruiserweights on Raw to give them more TV time. 205 Live seems to be safe even though they should tape it before Smackdown. I think that this is the plan once the Mixed Match Challenge starts again. Tape 205 Live before Smackdown, air Smackdown, air the Mixed Match Challenge on Facebook while 205 (Not Quite) Live airs on the Network. Doing it anyone other way may lead to more people leaving the arena before or during 205 cause if they stay them may not get out of the arena until midnight or so. Smackdown from 8-10 Mixed Match from 10:30 205 Live from 10:30-11:30 is a lot to ask for a Tuesday Night especially for fans who brings there kids to the tapings. Just do all the Main Event matches before Raw goes on the air for the next few weeks and things should be back to normal once the Mixed Match Challenge Wraps up. I also see 205 being moved to Full Sail the closer we get to Smackdown moving to Fox and Friday Nights. Although it hasn't been confirmed one way or another (at least to my knowledge) Smackdown will remain Live once they make the move to Fox. With all the money Fox is investing into acquiring Smackdown it doesn't make sense to me they would want to run a pre-taped show as those shows tend to have way lower numbers when it comes to Wrestling.

You have to imagine something is gonna have to change to some extent. Because next year SD moves to Friday nights. So they either will have to change where/how 205 is filmed, merge the brand into another show, or they'll have to film the episode a few days early.
