My favorite were Toybiz's WCW because they had good articulation, Jakks RA-style figures were good, Mattel is hands down the best. But I really wish they used sculpted pads and details like the old WCW figures had. But now it's too late to make the switch. It'd probably be more expensive to do that, too. I don't understand how Marvel Legends can have so many specialized parts/sculpts, usually very good paint apps, include a BAF piece, and still be $20. I really wonder what a wrestling figure like that would be like.
Absolute worst would be the LJN or Hasbro ones. Basically any of the ones with zero articulation.

I will always maintain that wrestling figures seem to be about 10 years behind all other action figure lines on the market for some reason, but out of all of the retail lines we've gotten so far, Mattel is easily the best. Any time a company geared toward higher end toys like SH Figuarts dabbles in wrestling figures though, Mattel looks like a joke. those wwe SH figurarts were horrible yes they were!

Mattel is best for accessories, articulation, scale and detail (although they're still not perfect in any of those areas).
Jakks was best for headscans and their legends roster. Also had way more cloth goods, despite charging $10 less per figure.
Mattel is constantly improving though. If theg keep working on their headscans and can somehow figure out how to make hair the correct colours, eventually they'll make us the perfect figures.
