As per Sportskeeda the concussion lawsuit has been dismissed! Probaly won't mean figures still for awhile but hey now the chances are better!

I still don't see figures coming simply because I'm sure WWE is pretty sour on them.

It sucks for the wrestlers. They knew the risks. Not really. You go to work knowing it will be physically demanding. No one goes to work knowing they will be seriously hurt. I also feel that wwe should hook these men and women up with medical insurance.

How do you know that we will see figures of them at some point?! I agree with Xaero Gravity, McMahon is known to hold grudges so I think its quite possible that these guys will get blacklisted by WWE. Mattel has already made figures of the more popular wrestlers ( Orndorff, Snuka, Demolition, Road Warriors, Kamala, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Bundy, Berzerker, Warlord), the rest of guys on the list are not big enough for WWE to care enough to offer them a legends deal. The only notable exception IMO is Mr. Fuji but his daughter controls his estate and joined the lawsuit when he passed away so I don't think she would have any interest in signing a legends deal with WWE after trying to sue them.

I also feel that wwe should hook these men and women up with medical insurance. They purposely signed them to contracts as 'independent contractors' instead of employees so they wouldn't have to pay them any benefits including health insurance- this should tell you how much WWE values the talent.

1. As wrestling fans, we should feel some empathy for a lot of these guys who are in rough shape and could use help with medical bills. WWE could go a long, long way to protect their performers better (it's a joke that today's guys/girls are still considered independent contractors)
2. This lawsuit was a joke because a lot of these guys didn't even spend much time in the WWE.
3. Hopefully, respectfully, this does open the door for some figures of these folks sometime down the line.

Know? We'll never know anything for certain until tshirts show up on wwe.com, a figure comes out, etc. But if there's money to be made, I expect WWE will extend a contract at some point. They've been sued plenty of times by people who they later did business with, and in much more personal attacks than this class action suit. And since becoming a publicly traded company I don't think there has been as much of the McMahon blacklisting that took place in the 80's and early 90's. To me the bigger question is whether the wrestlers would sign the contract if offered. They've had a class action lawyer telling them there was a big payday coming as this has dragged on. The WWE legends deals pay peanuts compared to what these guys probably expected to get from a class action lawsuit, and they may still have dollar signs in their eyes. But I think you are right about WWE probably having little interest in many of those guys. I think Animal and Demolition probably have the most value in terms of merch. Snuka is probably off limits due to the trial in his final days. Chavo works for LU. The rest of the names were notable stars in their day, but I don't think have a lot of marketability these days. But never say never, I guess.

Anything can happen and they KNOW that.... and they do go to work, knowing that 1 screw up, and they could be seriously hurt.

Viscera/mabel estate was a part of a wrongful death suit. His case was dismissed in 2016 and we have just seen a proto for mabel. Its possible... but dont hold your breath on any of these.
