As per Sportskeeda the concussion lawsuit has been dismissed! Probaly won't mean figures still for awhile but hey now the chances are better! So because the case was dismissed theres more chance of figures? Id say less chance, this is really gonna piss those guys off, trying to get them to sign a deal now is gonna be near impossible

Not really. You go to work knowing it will be physically demanding. No one goes to work knowing they will be seriously hurt. I also feel that wwe should hook these men and women up with medical insurance. Well i knew, as a kid watching, they told me, "dont try this at home"

These guys don't have a pot to pi55 in. They will jump on any available opportunity to make some cash. The issue for them is, the longer time has gone on, the less marketable most of them have become.
Not remotely surprised this was thrown out. It was a sham. A lot of those guys didn't even take regular bumps, or wrestle in WWE for long. The big names, who spent a long time in WWE shouldn't have tie'd themselves in with people who spent 10 mins in WWE.

Just looked up this list of folks and good lord, maybe it's just that I'm an Attitude Era wanker, but it looks like a who's who of potential shelf rotters, with the deepest respect to the fellas on there

I am also shattered to see that Kamala's real name is James Harris lol

Well if the retro line continues, I would love to have Hasbro versions of Ahmed, Bundy, Henry Godwin, Mantaur, Flash Funk, Barbarian/Powers of Pain, Rockers, Dean Douglas, and the Beverly Brothers.
Not gonna happen right away, but hopefully in 2-3 years some of these guys will be picked up again.

I've bought nearly everyone on a discounted price.

Not really. You go to work knowing it will be physically demanding. No one goes to work knowing they will be seriously hurt. I also feel that wwe should hook these men and women up with medical insurance. Sabu suing WWE when he destroyed his body in ECW & FMW was ridiculous. Obviously WWE is evil for not giving health insurance but a lot of these guys were getting hurt in different companies

The stuff they get away with by claiming independent contractor, while not having legitimate independent contracts is not ok

Who says they should offer it? Why should they cover the cost? Its very different in the US to how companies work over here, i dont know, i just dont see why they should, as i said, the risks are known, and nobody stopped them taking out insurance

And I agree, it wasnt only wwe. But, using Sabu as the example, wwe is still around and still profiting off of his work at wcw. You can pay wwe money to watch what sabu did in ecw.

Anything can happen and they KNOW that.... and they do go to work, knowing that 1 screw up, and they could be seriously hurt. Policemen, firemen, football players, pretty much any profession that requires physical activity has hazards to them the slightest mistake can cost you dearly. Yet somehow pro wrestlers shouldn't be taken care of? Seems very wrong to me.
