I was against this, but I heard they are having a tournament to determine “the best in the world” so it’s essentially king of the ring so I’m down. Just really hope HBK doesn’t come back for this lol

I've literally never seen someone say they disliked the last one because "we get too much wrestling." The ones that complain are SJWs saying they wont watch (even though we know they will) because women wont be there. Sites such as Whatculture and several members of this forum, twitter, and the wrestling internet community found the show to not deliver on the hype. The show was not an all time classic event as it was promoted that it would be. The card was basically a non big four PPV that drew a wrestlemania crowd because that country doesn't get any live wrestling besides WWE once a year. It was greatly enjoyed in Saudi Arabia, met "meh" reviews in the states. Why? Because our expectations for something hyped as "The Greatest Royal Rumble" the expectations for someone who hasn't missed a WWE show or PPV in the past seven years, will be different from someone who has only just watched their second wrestle-mania. TL;DR: I didn't say they said that. I'm saying that based on evidence, they didn't like it because of that underlying reason. What are they supposed to say? Not promote their own show? The IWC is mostly a toxic community, with complaining at every corner. Everyone complains like the WWE killed their kid, yet they continue to watch every week. Its really annoying to see all of the complaining on a weekly basis.

Literally every fan who watches weekly or lives in the west should notwatch these. We should treat these like the NWA title changes Flair had to do in Puerto Rico to appease the fans. It has nothing to do with anyone who isn't watching in person or in the time zones where they will be watching it live during the evening. Any American or Whatculture review of these shows is a waste of breath. Thus, I'm not watching and you'll save yourself a headache if you don't watch either. Thing is, in the territory days champions bounced from place to place without one long story. Plus they're apprences would only air the local areas. This is being broadcast worldwide, this will be brought up after it happens. We'd look like boobs if we just pretended this wasn't happening.

They got the title off him to appease fans - like me - that wanted the title there week in and week out, and they still get their wish of having him in the Octagon with the Universal Championship. I don't want it to happen, but I feel it's an absolute certainty.

Hell, I would welcome Brock Lesnar back as champion. I could trick myself into believing Vince has acknowledged his current Roman Reigns project was a failure and a possible sign they will be rethinking Da Big Dawg's booking from then on out.
But I just know it would only lead to Lesnar/Reigns 4 at Wrestlemania next year so we can get YET ANOTHER coronation...

As long as it was either short or he showed up more frequently. I still can't help but get excited when he's around, and Reigns has been a poor champion. He's not had a single convincing title defence since winning it, and this whole shtick with the Shield doing all his dirty work keeping the belt on him is bad imo. At least when Lesnar defended it for the most part he did it on his own without shenanigans.

Random question, does SJW mean social justice warrior?
Also I would love to see Lesnar get the belt back. We get boring threads without him as champion lol.

Keep in mind, that IF Sami Zayn was healthy. He wouldn't be able to attend Showdown in the Sandpit. Because he'd be jailed due to his religious beliefs. Just something to think about when watching the event in that s---hole country. Ill probably watch it after I get home from work.

Sites such as Whatculture Whatculture is not a credible site (and sucks) though. I agree, but they were just the first thing that came to mind. There's always so much content made as everyone weighs in on various other content.

I could swear they said that was happening at 230. I could be mistaken, but it's possible it changed but I'm pretty sure at one point, maybe not now, but Lesnar/Cormier was booked for 230.
