Y'all like to pick out Mattel's misgivings, and crucify Bill. Because there's nothing more exhilarating than pointing out the shortcomings of others, is there??? I am not as particular as any of you. Just thrilled to have JJ. I even mix scales and toy lines in my shelves! What a concept!!! BOOM! This guy gets it. I’m also just really happy to have JJ figure. Met him at Starrcast this year. Such a nice guy

Objectively speaking, how can this be figure of the year when it literally is just a face sculpt? The body is a generic suit body and THAT is even inaccurate because JJ wasn't that thin. I haven't come across yellow tinted glasses AND frames like he comes with. Even if they gave him IRS glasses it would have been more appropriate. I question the loose criteria to warrant figure of the year accolades. Because as a Horsemen completist, we finally have a Dillon fig. Never thought I would see the day! Bring on Roma and Ole But you're just being a mark for JJ Dillon, not the figure itself. Look I'm a huge Horsemen fan as well, my avatar is a combination of three of the best tag teams that ever existed and one of them is a Horseman so I get it. I really do appreciate that JJ Dillon actually got a figure in the Mattel line - no one would have ever guessed. But to go so far as to say he's figure of the year? Really? It's literally just a head scan, nothing more, nothing else. I'm not questioning your love for the Horsemen or even JJ, but this isn't Mattel's finest work.

Where in the toy collector rule book does it say it's cooler to mix scales and toy lines? If you like it, good for you - I've been a toy collector for nearly 40 years of my life and I loved G.I. Joe ARAH because they were all pretty much in-scale. I have my Joes, He-Man, and Wresting Figures displayed tastefully with their respective toy lines on my shelves. Some collectors actually like not mixing scales and toy lines. What a concept!!!

Headscan is good, the body imo is far too thin. When I first saw it I knew it looked weird on the body. Not sure why Mattel has a habit of either making the wrong figures too thin or too bulky.

I am glad we finally got a JJ figure, and I think the face likeness is there, but as a whole with the body used it’s not a front shelf figure. He’ll be standing behind the Horsemen on my shelf, because of the body they chose for it.

I also thought the JJ Dillon BAF body was too thin. I had an extra Paul Heyman baf body and I used the neck tie from Battle Pack Paul Heyman. I also think the head is massive, I think it's probably more in scale with Jakks instead of Mattel. Before JJ Dillon was announced I made a custom JJ Dillon with a Mattel IRS head with the hair painted. I think I still prefer that, but with the BAF JJ glasses added. Here are a couple pictures. 1 with the BAF JJ head and the other with the custom JJ head. Let me know what you think.
