Why? RSF is a show specifically for wrestling figures with talent from the WWE showing up. The people attending are wrestling fans and figure collectors. NYCC is a convention where you’re competing with comics, film, TV, celebrities from all different types of media and eras, other toy companies, etc. If Mattel is gonna choose one over the other, it makes sense to go with the event that’s all about wrestling figs. It would make more sense to advertise to more than just the hardcore fan that’s going to buy the figures no matter what. They appear at plenty of other comic and toy conventions for that. It’s also important to market directly to your target audience and engage with not only collectors but wrestling fans that only showed up to see the wrestlers.

Stuff will be shown. It's not as big as SDCC but it's still a big convention.
