That's strange they've never appeared on Smackdown as a group.

Just watched the video, expecting it just to be HHH/Flair/Orton. Such a great surprise to hear Batista is showing up.
Hopefully it leads to Batista having one last run properly

Weird but cool. At least we get to finally see a Batista appearance...

I knew he would eventually come back. And WWE is stupid for not trying to get him back sooner. He’s a big star now.

Evolution was never even a group on SmackDown. I'm really glad Batista is coming back, even if it is for only one night, but I would rather see him have his own moment coming back home to DC. He really carried SmackDown during its prime years, IMO, along with Taker.

Why do I feel like Orton is gonna flatten Batista? I mean it’ll add to his whole current gimmick, could get Batista is final run he wants in a more than entertaining feud with Orton

Makes no sense they never appeared on smackdown. Has Flair EVER appeared on smackdown?
But I'm guessing Orton will either beat down Flair or 'Tista which could be interesting.

Flair was on the SD roster in 2007 before they started the retirement angle. Plus he did appear regularly in 2001 and 2002 before the brand split

What if Evolution reuniting on Smackdown Live is the catalyst for Batista's official return to the company where he might likely feud with Orton?
Just a thought since I'm with everyone here: I associate Evolution with Raw, not Smackdown.

Batista should get his own moment since he was the top guy on the brand from 2005-2008.

meh would rather them bring someone up from nxt or focus on someone who was actually on smackdown at one point, i dont recall evolution ever being on smackdown, im sure some people will be happy batistas back, but ive hardly been watching raw or smackdown lately anyways so it doesn't effect me, i watched a bit of smackdown this week, the aiden english rusev thing is fun to watch but i dont see it doing either of those guys any good,

Evolution was never even a group on Smackdown so pretty weird. All I can think is that this will lead to a feud at Mania between Batista and Triple H.

As long as I get to hear “Line In The Sand” by Motörhead again, I don’t care what they do lol

I hate that they announced this instead of being a surprise especially when Batista tweeted to a fan asking if he’d be there, that he wasn’t going to. meh would rather them bring someone up from nxt or focus on someone who was actually on smackdown at one point, i dont recall evolution ever being on smackdown, im sure some people will be happy batistas back, but ive hardly been watching raw or smackdown lately anyways so it doesn't effect me, i watched a bit of smackdown this week, the aiden english rusev thing is fun to watch but i dont see it doing either of those guys any good, They’ve all been on SmackDown just not during the run as Evolution.

It's a shame that they feel the need to always pre-promote things like this. Batista returning by himself would have been a huge moment, but having it as part of Evolution does hinder it slightly, and takes away from the surprise. The show is going to be watched regardless since it's the 1000th episode, things like this should be kept up their sleeve. If they are advertising Evolution though, then I hope it's the full Line in the Sand.

Should have been kept secret and would have been something real special for the fans in the arena and for the fans watching, also doesn't make a ton of sense to have a Evolution reunion on Smackdown because the stable was a RAW stable only. But I do like seeing Batista return and this should set up his final run now because of the delay of GOTG3 which might have just made a perfect storm for Batista & the WWE.I am assuming Batista will be a babyface for a final run have Randy Orton turning on him and Evolution(which would be a full circle moment because the rest of Evolution first turned on him after SummerSlam '04) to set up a match up at Survivor Series or even more long term at Wrestlemania. While not the best together in the ring theirs never really been a long term feud and series of match ups between Batista & Orton and that was a huge possible one on one match up at Wrestlemania that fans wanted to see dating all the way back to WM 22.
Could be a fitting end to his career having Orton retiring him as both pretty much debut together and their big pushes and their careers starting in the same time and do to Evolution.
