No (...mattelfreak just seems to be bringing it up at every opportunity, lol). Mattel have the license until 2021 at least. Not just me lol ...it was in this thread...

Painted butt cheeks!! Is Total Divas Customs working for Mattel? Mattel really sucks at colors. The Golden Goddess looks more brass or copper.

I use to be a pretty big advocate for Basics but this line has turned into trash. Mandy's likeness is good but her head is too big and she's definitely not wearing gold. Let's also give it up for dollar store articulation and painted on knee pads. I legit feel bad for people who are big fans of her and this is likely the only figure we're getting of her for the foreseeable future.
We're seeing quite a bit of cost cutting and honestly just complacency imo. The line feels like it's going backwards.

It would be good to ask Mattel at RSF what's the difference between having the kneepads and painting them costwise? Is it just because of the budget or do they think it actually looks better? I think it'll be tough to find these things later on without paint scrapes on the elbows and knees.

The attire isn't 100% accurate but she wore something very similar in NXT and I get all the articulation back.

Sure the rubber ones were often bulky and restricted a good deal of movement but the aesthetic is weird now. Scratches and chips outta these will be inevitable. Just odd that this decision was made this far into Mattel's run.

Head is too big. Body is too small. Painted on bikini top, shorts, and kneepads.
