this would be my worst nightmare. We already have too many rereleases, new deco of superstars we don't need. I'd much rather them find a way to gve some love to some superstars we don't have yet.

As for other early flashbacks, have the following been re-issued in some form: E13 Edge E20 Christian...wasn't the recent Elite SummerSlam Edge a re-issue/re-paint of the E13 figure(?) According to the info on the back of the card the figure is from SS 1998 so I guess it is a reissue of E13.

Yeah, I think they should focus on getting some new names into the line, we have enough repaints. Since legends/flashbacks will be scaled back for 2019, they should allot as many of the flashback slots to 'first time in the line' figures as possible. Mattel releases like 5-6 elite sets per year so if they continue this strategy of 1 store exclusive flashback per set then we will probably see 5-10 legends/flashbacks next year. I included a few extra that might be inserted into the main set- recent flashbacks in the main set include E59 Kurt Angle, E60 Andre, E62 Dude Love & E63 Dusty Rhodes. It appears that the guys that sell well are being included into the main set will legends they believe won't sell as well are being added on to a set as a store exclusive (Backlund, Sherri).

I didn’t jump back into collecting until later so any early Legends re-releases I’d probably be ok with. However, they should definitely tweak the attire somehow to keep them different from the original release.

Mattel is known as a maker of toys for collectors. Hence "Matty Collector." To turn around and shaft collectors by doing straight reissues would be a move that would alienate many people currently buying the product. At the least, stamp the figure with "reissue" on the inner thigh and release it in vastly different packaging.
