When I went to target I was pleasantly surprised to see all of E61. But unfortunately all of the faces were terrible distorted other than Big E and Dandango, which don’t have true FX. I’m assuming they’re having QC issues due to implementing the new face prints. The worst was Kevin Owens. Looks like god damn Mr. Potatohead.

My KO looks nothing like that man. Sucks that face-printing can go all to with one and perfect on another of the exact same figure.

I don't see anything wrong this figure.. The print of the face doesn’t match up with the sculpt at all. You can see where the sculpt of the eyes are and the actual print is below. Same with the mouth. Look at both.

Not too big on the face printing all the time. For whatever reason I could pick up the graininess on the eyes. The finish on the printing is also usually glossy as well and the hits are usually missing blotches if paint. My Goldberg looks incomplete...

I haven't seen any in-person yet, but I'm guessing aside from weird ass stuff like that happening, they probably look way better from a normal viewing distance opposed to macro-level photography. It seems like when the printing is off even slightly, it really screws up the likeness. Quadruple eyes and brown teeth are not good looks, haha.

I wish they could do a combo. Normal painted eyes and true fx on the facial hair. The eyes are always horrible and look grainy and like the person had been crying all night.

On the bright side if you managed to get an elite 58 stroke face Mickie James they would make a good mixed tag in a pic fed. Lol

Just when you thought that quality control couldn’t get any worse, True FX comes out. Sigh.

From what I've seen in person (I have about 20 so far) & online pics, I absolutely love the True FX printing. I think it's usually fantastic. But sometimes when mass producing toys **** happens. Regardless of how it's painted. We saw the occasional botch with the other technique too.

But when you see a whole set have distorted faces because they keep printing the face incorrectly on the sculpt, that’s a bad sign. I couldn’t pick up one figure from that set I wanted because everyone of them had a botched face.

There’s a Mickie James Elite at a Walmart near me and her face is all jacked up, cross eyed and huge teeth. And non WWE, there’s a Flash(TV show) figure that some look like he’s wearing lipstick. I came across about 15 of them at Office Depot and all the heads were different, some with the lipstick look, others without but red paint on the nose or cheeks. Nature of the beast though. Not like they’re being hand made meticulously by people making $50 an hour or anything.

Yeah I didn't inspect enough when I bought a E59 Gable months ago. Only when I opened did I notice it giving a permanent sideeye. Paint was off to the side of the eye sculpts.
And that Owens scan is horrid. Mattel needs to burn that sucker.
