I started around 2015. I originally planned on just collecting a few legends/flashback figures, but it quickly became an addiction. I collect at least one of each superstar at this point and have hundreds of figures. I ended up creating a blog and Facebook page to show my collection, too.

I got all the Defining Moments (where they at the start?), some of the Legends as well. I didn’t buy 1 black card elites - and got really back into it when E16 Nash/Diesel and Punk hit. (Have since gone back and brought some black cards)

My first figure was Evan Bourne from Basic Series 1, but at the time I wasn’t all that into the line, picked up a bit in 2011 and I’ve been invested in the line ever since.

Sadly, I initially skipped on Mattel as I had no intentions of starting from scratch after Jakks. Then, around 2014 I started collecting. Since that point I've started and stopped several times, offloading my collection each time.

I started when I was in a store, I think it was Kmart, and saw Legends The Rock and Stone Cold. Can't remember if it was 2010 or 2011. Over the years I've collected some modern stuff here and there, but have completely stopped with that since I haven't watched much since about 2014, but I will buy anything and everything Attitude Era released as elite.

I didn't start straight from the beginning of 2010 more like 5 months after. I was hesitant because I was collecting the Jakks figures and starting a new collection after growing the previous one was hard. Once I brought my first Mattel figure I was hooked.

I only started a couple of years ago but I've managed to get all the Legends I wanted ... except for you-know-who.
How ridiculous is it that I've been able to track down most of the old rare releases like Bundy, the Model, Demolition, etc for reasonable deals but couldn't get a Harley Race that just came out, haha.

Kinda, sorta, not really. My first Mattel was Basic 1 John Cena, but I bought that one a few months after Jan 2010.

I remember the date, I bought my first Mattel on Dec. 27th 2014 it was HOF Sgt Slaughter and I've been all in since.
This return for me was after a few year hiatus after retiring at the end of the Jakks run. Wasn't due to lack of want but lack of space.
Moving into my new home in 2014 opened allot more room up to display figures so I was back.
Then I got into fix-ups and customizing and it eats my free time alive now, but I love it. LOL

No.
When Mattel first took over I wasn't sure I'd follow after my massive Jakks collection. I purchased BP1 HBK & Jericho as well as I believe E1 Undertaker when they came out to investigate. I hated Deluxe Aggression figures so I was wary about the Elite line. The basics were alright but not enough to get me hooked. Later, I spotted E6 Batista and Punk in store and purchased those. Loved them. Unfortunately, Mattel wasn't sending any subsequent Elite lines to Canada and wouldn't for a few years. I didn't start consistently collecting until around the time of E32, when Elites started showing up in Canada again. The rest is history.

I first started collecting the Mattel WWE Superstar figures and dolls and you can say that it's become my new favorite hobby and my first Mattel WWE figures were the Bayley figure that came with the Bayley Ultimate Fan Pack set that my father bought me as an early Christmas gift and to start me interested in a hobby to take my mind off moving because I had just finished moving and my parents and I have been staying in a hotel suite until we find our new house and it so happened that the Salinas Kmart was within walking distance and so the third week since we moved in Dad went to Kmart and surprised me with my Bayley figure. And then a month later I bought my Sasha Banks Ultimate Fan Pack Set that had my first Sasha Banks figure and I was thrilled. Later came the fashion dolls of Charlotte Flair Sasha Banks and the Bella Twins and I have never and I don't think i'll ever quit collecting WWE figures by Mattel since. I haven't played with my Bayley and Sasha Banks figures because Mom put them in the dresser drawer so that our hotel housekeeper doesn't take them but my other WWE fashion dolls have a space of their own under my nightstand so they will be ready for me to play with them. But my Mattel WWE figures are so impressive and it started me on a hobby I love so much Doctorwhofan
