I'm happy with the ending and all who managed to survive the murder-happy show known as Game of Thrones.

I was happy with how it ended overall but it did all feel rushed and there were things that irked me. I wanted the Starks to end up on top of the pile all the way through. But Bran being king is meh for me even as a Stark fan.
I would have preferred to see Jon on the throne as Jon Stark & granting independence to the North.

I find it funny Jon was a side piece the whole show. What is his defining moment?
Was it when his gf saved him from the rest of the wildlings?
When his sister won the battle on the bastards?
When he failed to save Rickon?
When his other gf swooped in on a dragon and saved them from the army of the dead?
When the red woman brought him back to life?
When his other sister killed the night king?
When his brother ruled the kingdoms?
Jon Snow was a jobber used to get everyone else over lol.

Umm... I’d say taking out the Mad Queen was pretty defining for Aegon.

Umm... I’d say taking out the Mad Queen was pretty defining for Aegon. Even then, manipulated. Doing someone else's bidding. Because who benefitted from it most? In the end Tyrion, the guy that talked him into doing it. And Bran, who basically played them all the while time knowing he would end up in power. Even dismissing that, walking up and stabbing your gf is far from the hero he was thought to be. It's a shame Jon couldn't put the season over as well as he did everyone else.

Bit that really stank up the end for me was the way in which Sansa gained this untouchable spoilt cow look. Like they couldn't conceal any of it, shes just another psycho bitch who wanted to be queen and wouldn't have it any other way.
Dare say she'd conspire to snuff ol bran flake given half a chance.
And yet everyone crows about how awesome a job they did with her. She was cack til the end.
Really hate how Jon didn't die too.. like he was brought back from the dead for a purpose right, is that not yet fulfilled? Would've been cool if he dropped dead as Dany died, then have drogon fly away with both of them.

He was able to unite virtually all of Westeros (sans King's Landing) to help fight the White Walkers. Arya got the kill but Jon was the straw that stirred that drink.

I, for one, enjoyed the finale. Dany couldn't be allowed to live. Drogon realized all of this death, and his mother's death by Jon's hand, was really the fault of the Iron Throne. Bran's ability to look at matters with no emotion will make him a fair ruler. Tyrion did so much work and doesn't get recognized for his efforts. Again. Jon kills Dany, but still didn't want power, so he went home to the true North. Brienne got to pen her lover's final moments, but in honesty, even legitimizing him as the father of King Joffrey, King Tommen, and Princess Myrcella.
Sansa is finally queen. Davos finally got a proper title. Bronn's debt was paid in full.
The only thing that I didn't like? We never heard the end of the "Jackass and a Honeycomb" joke.

Looking back, what pissed me off the most was them killing Ned. They didn’t even wait til the series finale.
Tyrion survived it all tho. So I get some good with the bad.

might seem minor but for me its a huge thing.
Just where the f*ck was Edmure Tully for all of season 7 & 8? Yknow Sansa & Aryas Uncle??? He's a bit of an bunghole so you could see him sitting out the big battles but man alive MENTION HIM when they are gathering forces to fight the dead or going south with their drained Army.
I mean they have to pass the effin Riverlands which Edmure now rules totally to head south.....

The ending was so disappointing. The entire series I hated Danarys so it was no surprise to me when she did what she did. They spent several seasons building up Jon snow all for him to be a useless character in the end.
