Yup. About 30 minutes away. Same for me, but for the Houston location.

I wouldn’t get too excited. If you read the article it sounds like this is nothing like we had as kids. I say they need to just keep this stuff closed. It’s sad there isn’t just a dang toy store out there anymore. But I guess we are seeing a birth of locally owned vintage toy stores which is cool :/

These stores sound awful. Tables with toys were someone watches you interact with it and records data for research.

Six stores? What’s re the odds there will be one near any of us. The smaller stores shouldn’t be a problem if they eliminate or scale back on baby stuff, video games, and the big stuff like bikes and power wheels and kids furniture. Get rid of those things and you can easily fit the rest of the store inside a store one third the size.

We have something similar around me called Boonshoft Museum Of Discovery. It sounds a little like that lol. I really do miss TRU and I hope they can balance out, come back and be a toy store again lol. I honestly don’t know how well this will work. Sorry but I was the type of kid who likes to play with toys and keep them. I just don’t see kids playing with stuff without being able to keep it lol

1. They better keep the "Toys R Us" name 2. Mattel is def gonna be cautious about giving them exclusives for a while until they build their brand again. 3. I hope they succeed again like the old days. It's a shame there is no actual toy store to take kids for Christmas now a days.

I seriously hope that this doesn't happen and they don't open again I'd much rather have kb toys come back instead of this
