I love the elite figures the most but if you had to lose 2 joints what would it be? I would lose the Stomach joint (because of the look) and the ankle joint (because some of my figures fall because of the loose joint)
Neck Joint (4) Shoulder joint (2) Bicep Joint (9) Elbow Joint (5) Wrist Joint (7) Stomach Joint (10) Waist Joint (6) Thy Joint (1) Knee Joint (3) Boot Joint (8) Ankle Joint (11)

PJ, I don't want to lose any either - although sometimes that ankle joint knocks the figure down and takes out many with it. The Stomach joint doesn't do much for me - especially aesthetically.

Elites - none now because we are so far into them now. Maybe if it was in the beginning but now I don’t want to lose any. For the Ultimates I could do without the toes and the double elbows.

I dont like the joint between the upper boot & lower boot. I wish it was a pin like the old basics. I think they move better as well as look better.

The reason they are the way they are and not pins is so they are always flush to the surface when you put them in a wide leg stance. But I do like the pin look more.

I could stand to lose ankle, then stomach, then wrist, then thigh.

I’m ok with losing the waist joint. I have lost count on how many figures over the last 25+ years that I wouldn’t play around with because of loose waists. But, I’m not ok with elites losing any articulation other than that point.

I like the stomach crunch , I mean from a playable perspective. at least they can bend over like a real human would. The thigh isn't really needed I hardly ever turn there thighs inside out. And the boot is useless also for me although I can see the need for bendable ankles. Id never pay for less articulation unless the cost went down significantly.

If I had to it would pretty much be the ankle rocker. So many of my figures I have to wrap a clear rubber band around the joint because they are so loose. This tightens the joint but I lose the rocker so yeah.

It’s funny because when Jakks did the Ab crunch for some reason I completely hated it and stopped collecting. But Mattel it has grown on my and it’s not even noticeable really as much anymore. I would probably go with the wrist because all I do is display somit doesn’t matter to me and the ankle going side to side Bc like someone said it’s made a few topple and makes them hard to stand up sometimes

Yeah, I wouldn't like to lose the stomach-crunch - especially so far (almost 10 years) into the line... one of the things I'm disappointed about on the new UE figures is the new torso articulation: it doesn't look as good as the regular Elites (IMO) - and I like uniformity, so it's a bit frustrating that a change like this has been made for certain figures.

I agree with PJ if they would have changed in the beginning it would have been fine but 70 series in is to far to change anything.

Not that I really know what I'm talking about to the degree some do but I'd remove (with a gun to my head) the bicep joint as I really don't mind the articulation on the new basics. And thigh just because I don't think I've ever turned it for any reason. And almost always interferes with the design on tights.
This is probably the most original thread I've seen on the board so kudos for that haha
