There's been 5 people in the history of wrestling who have been THE MAN. Bruno Hogan Austin Rock Cena That's it. Anybody can get a Title, anybody can get a push...but being THE MAN is a whole different ballgame. You need to be THE draw, the leader, the guy without whom the company would go into a tailspin at that particular time. And all of them have one thing in common: they all worked to prove they deserved their spot. They weren't handed it fresh off the streets. That's definitely a part of it, but not the whole thing. The Man can't be made. It's one of those things like porn. You just know it when it you see it. It's lightning in a bottle.

He is one of the all time greats, but the guy was pushed to the moon right out of the gate. He won the world title after 2 years on being on the roster. His career is alot like Roman's. The only difference (other than Rock being the greatest talker of all time) is they changed the Rock heel when he was getting booed, instead of keeping him a good guy.

Cena and Austin also won their first world titles in a shorter timeframe from their debut than Roman Reigns did. So did Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, Batista etc. The notion that Reigns was handed world titles faster than everyone else is laughable.
