The weird thing about these crossover lines is that they always seem to miss the mark on who they're appealing to. Wouldn't fans of the '80s MOTU line rather have '80s WWF wrestlers as MOTU characters than people like Cena and the New Day? I suspect that the Savage and Warrior will do pretty well and the rest of these will warm the pegs. Same thing with the TMNT/WWE figures. If the turtles looked like the original 1988 line instead of taking so much inspiration from the 2012 Nickelodeon series, and they had stuck to gimmicks from that era instead of Finn Balor, modern day Sting/Taker, etc., I think they would have been a much bigger success. Absolutely agree, I get the New Day lends themselves to the 3 man-E-faces gimmick, but I guess if Demolition were on good terms, we could have had a Demo-3-Faces instead. The point is, yeah 80s nostalgia is great (Stranger Things, Ready Player 1, etc.) but they are missing the boat on not enough flashbacks. Hercules is a character that would fit seamlessly into the He-Man universe for instance and be a huge appeal for the adult collector market. That would have been awesome.

I will probably pick up macho, Sting, and Warrior. But other than that I'm good. I'm pretty sure some of these will end up in the clearance section, so maybe I'll grab a few then, too.

I am probably going to get Sting at the very least. Been wanting a new Basic Sting for awhile. The ring is kinda tempting too. It has a really fun and unique look to it. I could see figure feders(?) being all over that.
But when they said the line is mix and mash plus compatible with the upcoming MOTU line, that could push me over the edge to get some more of these. I'm a sucker for mix and match lines. And these might actually do better than Mattel's last attempt (Create A Superstar) since this time around the parts will be more based on super powers and armor. But once again, the "probably not till they hit clearance or go on sale" rule will more than likely be in effect.

I fail to see what demographic they are trying to target with these. Adult 30 something fans who love and grew up with Masters of the Universe... is it really that hard to get that?

For me these are my most anticipated figures (that I know about) for next year. I just hope I can get them here in the UK. I will be keeping them all in package as I really like the way they look.

No, I don’t want them. I already had motu figures as a kid. I don’t understand the appeal of wrestlers as ninja turtles, ghostbusters, he-man, zombies/aliens, or anything else besides just wrestlers They think these gimmicky crossover lines are cool. They are just a waste of shelf space

Thanks for the pics, I love this line even more. Rey as Stratos is amazing! I plan on going all in with this line, one of the coolest toy lines I have seen in many years. For the love of god, release these in the UK!!!!

I can imagine people screaming about how they wanted an ECW Rey Mysterio Jr Flashback and it is released as a MOTU figure

The new pictures make these figures look even better. I was pulling back from getting these, but I'll be damned if Macho, Rey, Roman, and New Day aren't really cool looking.

This series is making me wanna buy all the AWA figs I had as a kid. What upsets me is that I never got rid of them but they vanished. I’m sure they’ll magically reappear once I reacquire them.

That really sucks to have the open box/sleeve packaging for the ring if you're picking these up in stores. Unless you're lucky enough to get to there just as the case is being opened and put on shelves. lol Otherwise, all the designs look really awesome. You can tell all the work they put in for these. The mini comics are a nice little plus and look really cool too. I guess we at least have to get a 'Beast Man Brock' for a second series of these. lol

It is being reported that the single figure for the related MOTU line will cost $15. I wonder if the WWEternia figures are going to be priced the same? $15 for a line that is not really being touted as for collectors seems kinda steep.

Loved MOTU loved WWE. Haven’t picked up from any of the cross over lines yet but if I find these I’ll def pick up Rey, macho, and a few more.
Hopefully Hogan, Piper, and Hitman can get involved in this line. Sorry Warrior but Hogan would be the perfect He-Man.
