I doubt it’ll happen unless RSC request it seeing it was their exclusive. But maybe Mattel could release them again with different accessories or with the face printing which would make them different enough? I can get with this. I would buy the living out of those...

Both figures go for ridiculous prices on the second hand market and badly need a main Elite series re-issue so people that missed out the first time can get in on the fun. These were two really well done pieces that are a must have in my opinion. I just can't afford $150+ for each figure! I'm with you man....its VERY doable. They can give them differences which don't compromise the value of the original RSC releases. Hardcore Kane is the more difficult of the 2. how about releasing him with a 2001 UT with a new Ponytail headsculpt & tag titles? 02/03 Kane is much easier.....Release him with non removable mask, without all the RSC accessories & with oval IC belt(which is in HUGE demand). Its simple enough for Mattel & both would sell. Hell even make them RSC exclusives again. I missed out on both because I had f*ck all disposable cash when they were around.

imagine putting much stock and value into a $20 Chinese made product where the cost of materials is lower, lol Reissues suck. And don’t work... sorry you missed out, but that’s the way it goes - nothing wrong with collectors wanting their figures to increase in value over time (god knows most of them go south). I wish I had Bundy, Martel and Vader from Legends - but I passed... bad luck for me, I either do without or put up the cash to get them. Increased value is a good thing over time. No, This isn’t the same as scalping, learn the difference - scalping occurs when you buy with intention to profit only... collectors who have older more valuable figures aren’t scalpers - they are collectors who have been in the game long enough to see an increase in value. I truely hope you find them at a price that is reasonable for you. if reissues gets you this bent out of shape that it sort of jeopardizes the supposed value of your toy, then you really need to find another hobby

I'm fine with them not being re-released, I want new characters/paint schemes. If people want them they are still available, pay the price. Didnt see me complaining about DM HBK re-release. Pay the price? I would if it wasn’t ridiculously stupid....$400 on eBay, I don’t think so....I want it back but no way it’s worth THAT much!! MOC collector? There's some sold loose in the bay for cheap.

Just my thoughts, but hey I don’t issues with scalpers either (more power to someone for making a $)... 🤷♂️

I don’t think the exact figures should be rereleased, but I think Mattel definitely should revisit the eras (in this case 2001 and 2003 Kane). It’s how I feel about all their figures honestly. I get wanting original figures to retain most of their value for collector purposes, hence why I don’t want straight exact rereleases, but on the other hand this is a line that’s coming up on a decade. The idea that iconic attires can’t be remade because it was first done between 5 and 10 years ago is crazy to me.

Forget a re-release of the RSC '03 figure; I'd love to see the Mattel version of that SHFiguarts Kane in the Ultimate Edition line. Wholeheartedly agree with the folks who want to see 2001 Kane with a bigger torso, bigger arms, a better mask sculpt, new laceless boots and a red Survivor Series '01 variant.
