I like the Bret Hart figure except for that weird crisscross thing on the back of his tights. When has he every worn anything like that? I picked up quite a bit today. I didn't find anything new that I wanted, so this stuff was mostly catch-ups. Anyway, here goes: I picked up the new WWE comic, Drax (I've had several, but sold or traded them), MiniMates Buddy Christ and Mooby, Lab Tech Dexter, Global Superstars Zach Ryder, Funco Pop! Stone Cold & the Rock, Clone Wars seasons 4 & 5, SWBS 3' Yoda & Dak Ratler, SWMission Series Obi Wan & Darth Maul two pack, Saga Legends Super Battle Droid & R4-P17 and Dark Horse SW Omnibus Boba Fett V.1.

Snake looks excellent. Great part choice. Off the top of my head, I can't think of the figure(s)you used. I got Aveline from Target. Bret was a gift from my brother. That was nice him, no special occasion, he just knew I hadn't bought one yet.

cool. Did they have the Ezio and Unity Assassin? I think that is the next wave of Assassins Creed.
As for the Snake it's the reaction head on a Joe body. The Joe was one of the Drednocks (?) He was the one that looked like a Biker version of Outback (the surviorlist Joe wears a tshirt)

the assassin's creed figures look pretty awesome, but the articulation is a little strange compared to marvel legends or dc figures.

Except for the hips the articulation is about the same on Assassin's Creed figures.

My order from Big B@d of McFarlane's Assassin's Creed series 3 figures arrived today. I wish the now hoodless Black Flag Edward Kenway was in the set, but it looks like he's a revision case figure.
The four are.. Altair Ezio Ah Tabai Arno Dorian

Thanks. My Walgreen's is filled with the regular Kenway and Black Bart figures. I don't think the new Mayan Outfit Kenway is out yet. Of course now that my order arrived I saw a case at my TRU today. So I picked up another Altair. And there was no Kenway in the case. From the pic on the back of the card the new Kenway looks pretty bad @$$ in the Mayan outfit.

They should've done a shirtless Edward Kenway (for the tattoo detail).

Actually I just asked the manager at my TRU to ask the Neca guys for that figure next time they are in stocking the pegs. That is how I got my classic PotA. They had them in their truck, but weren't going to stock them at my store until the manager told them he had someone asking for them. But thanks for the heads up.

My recent haul from the past few months. Complete set of Pirates of Dark Water set. I got it (plus 4 extra figures) for $40. Found the Prototype Boba at Walgreens. I got the Han/Tauntaun for $5 when I won it at a raffle last month. Snagged the Walking Dead figures when I could. Didn't want to miss out again. Never saw the Bret Hart Simpson figure, so I bought all 3 in case I needed to do a trade. Same with the Kaitlyn figure. Fighting Furies accessories. An old Matchbox line from the early 70s. $40 for both was too good of a deal to pass on.

Fighting Fury's was that the "Big Jim" style Pirate line? If so that was a fun line back in the day.

I remember fuming one day when another guy beat me to the only Han/Tauntaun in TRU. I would see this guy all the time (looked exactly like Vladimir Putin). He had a good head start, though. I seen him walk through the doors right when I parked my car, lol.

Fighting Fury's was that the "Big Jim" style Pirate line? If so that was a fun line back in the day. Not exactly. Big Jim was made by Mattel. The Fighting Furies were made by Matchbox. I think it might be like comparing Transformers to Go-Bots. www.big-jim.eu/My cousins in Holland had the whole Wolfpack line, and I was pissed that I could never find them in the states. We only had the basic sets, but I wanted Zorak & Torpedo Fist. When I was 6, I saw the Ghost of Captain Kidd in a toy store in Holland, but my mom wouldn't buy it for me. She said I had enough Star Wars figures & didn't want me collecting other sets. Over 30 years later, I found it on an auction site & snagged it. www.megolike.com/matchbox.htm
