Is the Shane Mania basic in there? Its not, it was in a wing cap shipper a few weeks ago. There was one still at my Walmart as of Friday if you're looking for one.

These shippers are always used to clear out dead stock. Idk why you guys are always surprised I’m not surprised, more like cynically amused. It’s bad enough they overship the WrestleMani figures each year to where every Walmart near me puts them on sale for half off a month or two later to get rid of them (only to end up at Big Lots later). But to add in old figures that had already clogged shelves in Target especially is comical in a bad way.

Is the Shane Mania basic in there? The mania basics were in a separate end cap display unit. Saw a few at different walmarts but only seth and Becky were ever left. Shane and steph go quick. Shane going fast is a bit of a shocker for me. With everything that went down last year, plus the lack of misplaced effort put into that figure, I took it as a shelfwarmer for sure. I mean, it's already marked down on RSC. If it weren't for the shipping cost, I'd order myself several. Again, I have many uses for that headsculpt. Also, I have a feeling that, if I got frisky, I could fix the figure into a proper WMXV figure. I'd just need to cut the overshirt off and make sure it was sanded and painted well, then apply decals. Simple enough fix. But mostly I want it for the headsculpt. In all honesty, I wanted to cry when I first saw the proto images for that figure. All they had to do was keep everything the same, but leave off the overshirt. If that didn't work, simply swap out the torso for a painted t-shirt one. Apply the same paint apps, and done. I'm pretty sure they spent more money this way, and made a less accurate figure.

Idk why you guys are always surprised Because this isn’t true This is 100% true Everytime we get a shipper like this, there’s always older figures in it, mixed with new. This even goes back to series 33 when stores were reflooded all those figures. Pretty sure it may of even been confirmed by a store or mattel

Pretty sure it may of even been confirmed by a store or mattel While maybe some stuff in previous shippers was considered old by online and Ringside standards, it was never more of the same old stuff that is already clogging retail that literally no one wants. Plus, the shippers were usually the first place to get the Wrestlemania Elites which this is the 4th or 5th way they have been available this year, and the Wrestlemania basics were always included, and now they suddenly aren't. This shipper is exceptionally bad, worse to date.

Last year’s shipper had E63 with more of Backlund plus E64 and the WM elites, which were brand new sets at the time

They are the "2018" top picks series that I purchased, at retail, at least a year ago.

Not trying to split hairs, but they came out in 2018. They’re in 2019 boxes, doesn’t matter when Ringside gets them I feel like we may be talking past each other. ;-) I'm not talking about Ringside. I'm talking about when they physically came to retail stores. I bought mine, not from Ringside, in 2018. Regardless, they have been out over a year.

I remember that Survivor Series shipper that had all those old Bliss, Styles, Roode figures on them. And the Sting/Taker 2 packs.

Regardless, they have been out over a year. I'm just adding my two cents because this always grinds my ass, especially when people make polls and include figures when they bought them not in the proper year of their intended release. I've seen stores get the new year refresh packaging in November / December. Mattel releases updated packaging for figures January to December then in January they're refreshed.
It should always be considered that the packaging defines the year not the date they're bought. If I bought my 2020 Civic in December 2019 it doesn't change it to a 2019 Civic.
Understood. I feel like this is probably something insignificant to go back and forth on, especially if we are focusing more on labels or "model years" rather than how old the figures are. My only point throughout is that these figures were available to purchase by people online and in retail stores over a year ago and shelf-warmed last year in places like Target and have been at Big Lots for $10 for some time now - making it comical that they are being included in these Walmart shippers again.

Same can be said for E72 and E73 this past December. 2020 updated packaging but it just happened to get to retail before 2020.
