Haha, you’re good dude. Hope I didn’t come off wrong, lol. But yeah, it’s at Full Sail University. At least it’s not being held in the PC

It was kinda cringy at first with fans playing to their cameras, but it got less noticeable during the night. I was also trying to figure out if they were moving people throughout the night. I was fully expecting to see Green Shirt Guy, but I didn’t notice him. There were a few moments where I could tell they were on a delay because there were a few delayed pops.
Overall, I actually liked it. I liked how the top area reminded me of MSG. Is this over after Monday or are they continuing it?

They have it booked for the next couple of months, I believe, although I’d expect that to be increased or decreased based on how Covid goes.

I saw someone suggest moving the fan screens back to fit in some PC talents to still make live noise. I think that'd be a smart choice. I also think the fans were a tad too large. If they could scale back on that some, I think it'd help. Besides that I thought it was good enough under these circumstances.
Far better idea than letting fans into the show, but still gave the show more life than the dark PC.

They can’t pipe in reactions to certain moves and everything, it’s just the constant single cheering sound bite on a loop no matter whats going on and it takes away from the match

I like the concept. I dont like the fake cheering they add to the matches. It sounds ok but I know its not really the fans cheering...

The fans have an app on their phone, and they can hit the button to cheer/boo certain ways and the noise gets piped in. It's actually pretty cool. The one thing is those fans are actually their in person (They all have masks and are told not to cheer audibly, only clap or stomp feet or use the app. Since it's Japan everybody co-operates). I don't know if the lag would make it impractical (sadly probably would), but it's actually pretty darn cool. You can still tell its artificial but to me it's a lot better. Failing that yeah the PC recruits need to come back. If we can just kill the (thump....thump....thump..thump.thump..thump..thump..) thing that would be ideal.

The fake crowd noise (annoying, and unauthentic) for Raw and Smackdown is one thing... but for live PPV’s? It has to stop. They’re going to have to figure something out. It’s trash.
Like I said days ago, get a few dozen PC recruits around ringside (would they be allowed to have around at least 50 people?), socially distanced, spread far, far apart within separate, plastic barriers like they used at the PC, opposite side to where the LED’s are placed for the virtual audience, and cheer away.
Why didn’t they just use this idea, and mix the actual audio from the virtual fans with that of the PC recruits (and them banging on the plastic barriers to create a rumble effect)? Why use trash stock/video game audio instead? I honestly don’t get it... 🤦♂️

They are already having people streaming Mario, pikachu, Kkk members and crispen wah as fans watching. Giving them a live mic is a terrible idea.

Also, these people are watching at home, most of them aren’t going to be screaming into their webcams like they would at a live event.

I didn't know NJPW was doing that, but I had that exact same idea after seeing summerslam

man, some people out there are just losers. just saw a video on insta where one of the monitors featured a live video that was violently inappropriate
pulling stunts like having signs saying velveteen should be fired is one thing, but some people have zero decency and it's sad.

I'd be shocked if they got rid of the Thunderdome when the pandemic is over. VKM is able to have a fake crowd cheer for who he wants, boo who he wants, and not have real people chant whatever they want. This has to be a dream come true for him.

one of the worst WWE themes in history Yep, definitely one of the worst. They had to go mainstream and pick something recognizable for FOX, I guess.
