I came across some news regarding James Storm and WWE. Storm mentioned that he was set to make his Main Roster debut on the RAW after WrestleMania, but obviously the Pandemic caused major changes and scrapped that. Now, he apparently hasn't heard back from them since July. Back when Storm debuted for NXT in 2015, I was excited for it as I've always been a fan of his, but was disappointed when I found out he didn't end up signing after the odd few weeks he was there. I remember reading that the door was always open for him to come back when he sorted out personal issues he had going at the time. So this seemed like the best time to come back, especially since he's in the best shape of his life right now. I guess it's pretty obvious that he was set to debut on the RAW after Mania for the crowd reaction, and to have an audience that would easily recognize him. But it has me thinking of what he would have done, who he would have feuded with etc... Since Roode was on Smackdown, that takes out a Beer Money reunion unless they were planning to move Roode over to RAW. Regardless, I really hope they do bring him in once everything starts to calm down. He's one of those names I've always wanted to see in WWE, and someone who deserves the opportunity. Plus, an Elite James Storm would be amazing... With the Cowboy Hat, jacket, and the Rope as accessories. Maybe they can debut him at the Royal Rumble next year, or if both sides are patient, debut him on RAW after next year's Mania. What do you think? www.prowrestlingsheet.com/james-storm-pandemic-derailed-wwe-debut-plans/#.X3KVNWgzaUk

If they don’t do a beer money reunion in WWE then neither guy is going anywhere.

Storm is one of my favorites, so I hope he signs somewhere that actually has national exposure.

Always been a fan of Storm going back to the early TNA days. Sadly I don’t see the WWE doing much with him based on what they’ve done (or haven’t done) with his former partner, Bobby Roode.
Both could be great in a singles role or as a team again, but I feel like both Storm and Roode would be booked far better in AEW or the NWA.

Remember when people were upset about WWE only using a bunch of 40+ year old talent?
Well...

Remember when people were upset about WWE only using a bunch of 40+ year old talent? Well... It was more about people complaining that they’re world champion. If the guy is there to help put over younger guys, then we’re all for it. I doubt Storm is there to capture the Universal title lol. It’s probably to get that official WWE run under his belt before retiring and help put over some younger talent

Nobody who really watches WWE knows who James Storm even is. Have him go back to "Impact" where he can actually get screen time instead of doing nothing. Hell, AEW would be better for him, he can tag with that Adam Page guy and they can ride horses all day long.

I always loved James Storm. He was such a staple to TNA and I really have a special part of my heart for 2006-2011 Impact. I always thought he was awesome. It would be so cool to see Roode and Storm team on RAW or SD.

Roode is better than Storm and Roode isn’t a priority in the WWE.
They also don’t care about tag team wrestling, so don’t get too excited for a possible Beer Money reunion.

Was he going to do an Old Town Road gimmick?

Wasn’t the word on him a few years ago that he was viewed as kinda lazy and unmotivated? I kinda remember part of the reasoning he didn’t end up with WWE being that he didn’t want to be on the road. Maybe that was just a rumor though.

I'd love to see Storm get a run in WWE. I know TNA offered him good money, but I wish he had stayed with NXT.

Remember when people were upset about WWE only using a bunch of 40+ year old talent? Well... Age shouldn’t be a factor as long as someone can still go in the ring and entertain the fans. Example: Flair, Macho, and most of the WCW roster from the 90s. Today, we have plenty of performers in their 40s who can entertain and bring eyes to the product. Yes, the WWE should be focused on building future stars, but there’s a point where they need to focus on the present as well. I think the WWE has relied too much on aging stars over the past decade, but they shouldn’t completely job them out either.

Well he shoulda jumped on the offer when he was in NXT 5 years ago. Then he went back to impact.

I've been a huge fan of Storm since AMW, but you just know he'd be a failure in WWE. Brief tag title run with Roode then he'd be chasing R-Truth for the 24/7 title in 6 months.

I can't see much left to get out of the character or the talent. dude was spinning tires in NWA, and Adam Page is the only southern cowboy needed these days.

If he does show up, have him and Roode go to NXT so they can actually be used properly.
