Well, I was going to use the Edge for a Test custom. Seems like Mattel did a little more of the work for me than I expected. HBK looks awesome, and Chyna looks good. But Mattel's inability or refusal to use metallic paint is so baffling. Especially when Hasbro is constantly doing it in the ML line at the same price point. The sparkly paint can't be that freaking expensive.

Mattel don't give us warriors or HBK if you can't give them their dusters and chaps. It's like one man without vest and other without underwear.

I will get the whole set and I kind of want two Ellerings. One to go with my LoD and the other for AoP.

That was the worst match on the show and Chyna was gone from the company not too long afterward I am not talking about match bro I am talking about the moment from where she started her dominant women's championship reign. When ever I think of a Chyna image I imagine Chyna lifting the title and pressing ivory in this attire. So this is for sure an iconic moment not match lol. Uhhhh... Sorry, but I have to disagree. The fact that Chyna was in the women's division at ALL made me livid back in the day. The women's DIVA'S division was practically a joke at the time, with what, four or five decent workers? 2001 was not the best time for women in the company, and the years that followed were even worse. For the Ninth Wonder of the World to dumb herself down to be a simple diva was insulting and gutwrenching to me as a teenage girl. I looked up to her, I loved watching her whoop on men every week. She was INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION! The first woman ever to enter the royal rumble. At one point she was #1 contender for the Heavyweight Championship. Turning Chyna into just another Diva broke my heart and, while I will be getting this figure as a stand in for the moment, if they release a proper Ninth Wonder figure from her 99-2000 run, WMX7 Chyna is getting chucked in the Unloved Box. I won't even be giving her the belt. Trish can have the Women's title.

Are the goldberg head and old man ellering head the same? Hmmmmmm....
I agree about Chyna in the divas wearing purple. It didn't fit. She never should have been moved in that direction. For her to be packaged with Rocco it looks do weird. Like what's her connection with Rocco. Bad packaging choice for moc collectors.

I keep going back and forth on who I need out of this set. Women’s division Chyna is probably the least desired figure I’d want of her and I don’t need Rocco. I don’t think I need another HBK from that era. Edge I’ll probably get to pair with Foley. I already have a custom Ellering but could use an updated head but don’t need the suit parts since the one I already have is superior. So guess I’ll be getting Oldberg for the younger head.

Rocco Sucked, but I’m Happy to be getting Ellering finally. The Michaels is awesome, and until I looked that the photo on the package for Edge I legit thought ‘they’re releasing a Test figure?!’

Hell Jakks figures from 1998 had metallic paint.

Definitely will grab Goldberg and Chyna. I'll grab Edge and Michaels if I see them in stores with some extra cash.

Hasbro has been killing it. Mattel has been stagnant as far as innovation comes. They just now added butterfly joints for hogan, 10 years into the line.
