This game is snake bit! Apparently GCW owns the trademark “Fight Forever” they have started settlement talks apparently, but I mean it’s one thing after another. The name has been out for at least a year, maybe longer and this goof is just now having an issue with it? Sounds like he’s still salty aew talent got pulled from gcw shows I mean you might be right…but if you own the trademark for something and someone else is using it and trying to trademark it 🤷🏻♂️ I’m sure he waited til the copies were being produced so they would have to settle.

From what I’ve read AEW filed for the trademark first so that should kill any type of legal stuff instantly

They weren’t going to do anything when it was announced until AEW trademarked it as exclusive for wrestling (not sure the correct word) they don’t want any money, they just want their trademark respected and be able to continue to use it. They don’t want AEW to change the name or anything like that. Orange Crush explained it all on Twitter because of how much hell GCW is getting.

Just feels odd to just now have a problem with it when the game is close to being released

Quote from Sean Ross Sapp he got from Lauderdale
“GCW is not trying to delay the release of the game or receive any compensation from AEW, merely protecting their trademark so they can use it again in the future.”

If GCW's trademark is valid then they should be compensated, much like Sharkboy received a settlement from Miramax.

If that date is accurate this will have turned into one of the biggest gaming farces of all time.

The extra delay/push back time is probably an excuse for them to perform the final tweaks and touches to Tony Khans' masterful voice lines, i knew my boy TK wouldn't let me down! I can't wait!.. oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!

It was just WWF No Mercy a year after he left, also almost made it into Smackdown 2 as we all know

This game has been in development since the summer before AEW debuted on TNT. That is a wild thought.

Cody has to be completely removed at this point you'd think.
