I can understand not being a Bret Hart fan, but to consider him the worst main eventer of all-time is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard on these forums.

How? This man has been carrying the covid-era of WWE His promos are bad, his matches are just ok. Ratings and viewership numbers are at all time low.

Honestly I think that viewership is at all-time lows due to literally everything else going on in the world besides wrestling. Right now SmackDown is good as hell and RAW is fairly decent.

The Miz cause he a mid carder pretending to be a main eventer. He is okay on the mic and not so good in the ring. His only WWE Championship run was an afterthought even though he main evented WrestleMania 27 but he was just the third wheel cause of The Rock and his opponent in the match John Cena. He is an F level movie star with bad comedy with John Morrison currently with this bullcrap Hey Hey Ho Ho and the lame why in saying correct. How? This man has been carrying the covid-era of WWE His promos are bad, his matches are just ok. Ratings and viewership numbers are at all time low. His promos are great and real unlike some of the guys on the Raw roster, His matches are great especially the PPV matches (expect the Goldberg match), The rating and viewship are low cause of the lame ass booking and bad creative, Vince is more focus on SmackDown more then Raw these days.

Guys like Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit. I liked that they both won the WWE and World Title's respectively, but they really should have never been in the main event scene to begin with. The proof is that after they lost their WWE and World Title's that A: they never won them back again, and B: they were put back down into opening match or mid-card feuds on PPVs again. Guererro's last PPV match was a title match against Batista...
Also if that were actually true he wouldn't qualify for this. The question was for people who were in the main event scene for years, not a blip. Benoit was also supposed to win the ECW Title at Night of Champions, which would have made him the World Champion, and Main Event of a brand. As much as people like to hate on WWECW, it technically was a brand with a World Title. After they both lost their title's in 2004, it was only a matter of time before they were both back in the Main Event picture. Sometimes, moving around the card for a year or few is needed before you can fit back into that Main Event picture.

Del Rio and Swagger come to mind. Two of the worst, least charismatic world champions ever.

Orton because of longevity, there the obvious guys like Khali, but atleast his reign served a purpose to get someone over before stepping out of the main event role. Orton has been tediously at the top for a long while. Orton has had 14 World Championship reigns with only two of them going over 100 days but none of them going over 200. Orton deserves a good long run with all the headlocks, just to piss people off and make me happy. Im totally down for Orton winning the big one a few more times. Just to get Orton vs Cena (high number) at wrestlemania both tied on 16 title Reigns, the winner takes Flairs record. I think historically that match is something.

That would be the ultimate title match. Their history against each other makes this perfect. I would want Orton to win if he will still be wrestling after Cena officially retires. Orton beat Cena to unify the belts so Orton should beat Cena to beat the record. Orton needs to break Ric Flair's record due to their history in Evolution. Also he needs that record because I'm coming for his record of youngest WWE/World Heavyweight Champion, let me dream dammit.

After Roman Reigns lost the WWE Championship at MITB 2016 and lost his rematch at Battleground. He then became United States Championship and then won the Intercontinental Championship in late 2017. By early 2018 he was back into the World Title scene. He even did that again from his return from cancer until SummerSlam 2020.

Makes no sense as Orton would go into the match as a 16 time champion. If he wins, he’s still on his 16th reign. The only way that works is if the title is vacant and both men wrestle to see who wins number 17.

Cena. The reason I stopped watching wrestling. You went from an Olympic gold medalist to a guy in jorts feigning military service.
I’ve come to admire his philanthropy.
