Overall boring show for an MSG return with the only two real highlights being the Roman/Paul/Brock love triangle opening segment and the stellar Edge/Seth match. The stuff with Balor/Roman seems absolutely bizarre and pointless now given Brock popping up right in the middle of their feud. Even worse they brought back Demon Balor only for Roman to undoubtedly obliterate him en route to a big showdown with Brock unless they do a triple threat between the 3 in which I can’t see any other scenario besides Demon Balor eating the pin to keep the feud between Reigns and Brock going. Just feels like a complete waste of Finn’s momentum and demon persona. The Edge/Seth match was the highlight of the night for me. Good enough way to write Edge off TV and remind everyone Seth is a still a legit threat. Wondering if we’ll get a gimmick match for the blowoff when Edge returns. TLC would be cool if Edge’s body is up to it. This “When you order 2016 Conor McGregor on Wish” version of Becky is ing horrible. And no, not in a fun, clever, “She’s SUPPOSED to be annoying, she’s a HEEEEEEEEL” way either. She’s pure cringe. I was hoping the “I apologize to nobody” line after Summerslam stolen directly from McGregor verbatim after winning the LW title was just lazy writing but I guess they’re going to run with this crap. It’s a shame to see the direction they’re taking two of their top women wrestlers with Wish McGregor Becky and Cursed Motor Oil/Evil Dolly Alexa. Absolute rubbish. Everything else was pretty awful.

Edge/Rollins was incredible again, don't know how I feel about the stuff after the match but I'm looking forward to what Seth does next.
The Roman/Brock/Heyman stuff was fun, hopefully their match will just be for bragging rights after Finn takes the title.
Speaking of Finn, loved seeing the Demon back again(nice paint!).
Sami bringing in Young was great and I'm loving Big E getting in Heyman's head.
I was hoping the SP would win the titles but them chasing after them works too. Ford is amazing!
Really good show tonight but it could've used some Happy Corbin(never thought I would say that)

Morgan and Storm but they booked that 10 men tag team match instead with that Hawks player for cheap heat. Edge and Rollins went too long for a 2 hour show.

In my opinion, Sami Zayn is the best slimey prick gimmick in pro wrestling. Just that guy you want to see get his ass kicked. He does it to perfection.

If fans want Becky's heel turn to flop then they shouldn't boo her. By doing so they are giving the WWE what they want.
Bianca is a natural heel so turning their biggest babyface heel is illogical.

Sounded like a fantastic show. I just don’t know where Finn goes after the Demon loses. It’s been built as this unstoppable force and a last resort for Finn. So if he loses, he’s just another guy that couldn’t get the job done.
I really wouldn’t have put him back into the title picture this soon.

And I don’t think Finn should beat him. Continue to have him beat everyone until Big E cashes in for a match at Wrestlemania is the route I’d go. It’s just, using Finn for the challenge of the month does nothing for me. Especially with Brock obviously going to be the Saudi opponent.

Demon Balor is a (somewhat) more credible challenger than King Nakamura, who has only just settled into his spot as a midcard winner and would be derailed with a big time loss at this point. I guess it depends on what you see as the ceiling for Balor though, because yeah, it screws him up as a main player for a while at least.

I don’t really like the idea of Finn challenging for the title while they’re setting up Brock and Roman. It just makes Finn look like an afterthought.

This company has a history of being scummy people who don’t care about any of their talent outside of a handful. If it was Becky or Roman they’d get a whole two hour spotlight about their loss

Finn should have returned to Raw. He was just brought to SD to be fed to Reigns. And once Reigns beats “The Demon,” there’s literally no where else to go but midcard-hell like Owens, Naka, Crews, Sami, Corbin, etc…

The Lesnar/Bloodline stuff was gold! Good to see Lesnar talk again. Edge/Rollins was one of the best matches I’ve seen in awhile.
Overall I’d say this SD was easily the best episode in the last 5 years, maybe even the last 10/15 years tbh. It’s so rare to see a solid show like this.

Smackdown got their biggest live gate of all time. They also got 2.3 million viewers. Not bad.
