What makes anyone think Seth can fight an actual fight? Not saying he can't, just wondering what about Seth makes you think he can fight? He's a wrestler? He isn't come small guy on the street, he actually has strength to do stuff.
HBK got beat up by marines on the streets in 1995. Though, they were marines, so they probably were tough. HBK though?? I wouldn't say was tough. He could take punishment in the wrestling ring, but that is a lot different than a fist fight on the streets.
To be fair with Seth though, it's not like Seth expected that. If that fat jerk tried to fight Seth in the streets, coming face to face, perhaps Seth would have kicked his ass.

Take the turnbuckle pad off and bop someone's head on it? Execute a dropkick and then do a kip up from the concrete?

I was definitely being serious when I said someone would have to fight Seth Rollins.

When are fans gonna learn that if you jump the railing at a Wrestling show you risk getting your ass kicked? I wouldn't blame Seth if he kicked the dudes ass either, dude could've had a knife on him or something

My favorite part about this is Chavo on twitter stating “Remember when the wrestlers were tougher than the fans…”
Lol I dunno, just seems hilarious coming from Chavo who spent most of his WWE career getting beaten up by Hornswoggle.

If Omos wasn’t with AJ, there’s no way he’d survive budget cuts. Khali is in the hall of fame mate, he survived a few purges. He's not going anywhere yet as long as AJ and him still have legs. Once AJ goes back to singles, we'll see what they do with him.

I'm more impressed by the guy's spear on Seth. Us Brooklynites don't mess around, lol.

I always love the “wrestlers aren’t tough” anymore conversations had by people who are obviously super tough. Probably definitely not out of shape. Certainly don’t play video games like those soft guys in the locker room.

I guess some more stuff has come out on the guy who came at Seth, and honestly, it's kinda sad. It doesn't excuse the behavior one bit, but there's clearly something that either a hindrance to him developmentally, or he's suffering from some pretty severe social/emotional/mental health issues.
In retrospect, it kinda makes me even more glad that he didn't get the boots put to him the way he might've in the 90s, if not just because mob-mentality bloodlust is actually kinda really weird (and maybe speaks to some pretty severe social/emotional/mental health issues on the opposite side of the discussion), but because he's clearly not somebody who has all the faculties in check. He doesn't need a beating, he needs professional help.

I don't know anything about Elisah Spencer's mental health, but he could also easily just be drunk. Like most other guys that run on fields, pitches, courts, etc.

Certainly don’t play video games like those soft guys in the locker room. no one said wrestlers aren’t tough. they take bumps constantly and are tougher than 99% of people. rather it’s intentional or not, the comprehension level of some of you is truly pathetic. and I always find those kinds of statements hilarious. essentially calling people out on not being tough, but if they happened to be and defended themselves you’d start hurling accusations that they are trying to be tough on a message board. here’s an idea: instead of attempting to body shame people who you have no idea how they look, practise what you preach. what if I happen to be jacked? what difference does it make? I’ve been open about my fitness journey in the fitness thread, check that out, or keep making baseless assumptions. 👍

Guys look at the videos on Twitter. Seth was totally in control. That guy was running into him, trying to spear him (lol) and Seth took him by the head and just sat down and fixed him, waiting for security. He didn’t punch him because there was no need. Seth was totally working save. Sure he appeared being pretty pissed, but still he did not actively attack, pretty sure he did this on purpose. That guy should be grateful.

Let's even be more honest. HBK mouthed off some marines, they escorted him outside, he didn't want to drop the IC Title to Dean Douglas, so he made up the story of getting beat up by 379 marines and Godzilla.

Certainly don’t play video games like those soft guys in the locker room. “Legit tough guys” is actually code for “unnecessarily mean and violent bungholes”. I prefer a locker room full of talented people who’ve loved pro wrestling their entire lives over a bunch of powerlifting hard asses who don’t care about the business.

I dont think there's ever a strong argument for "wrestler = cant fight" plenty can and plenty cant. Has nothing to do with your profession, people either have it in them or they dont. You get hit and run or hit back. Simple as that. Im talking basic instincts here and not whats been drilled into someones head. As far as that, mixed martial arts and real amateur wrestling backgrounds go, thats a whole nother ballgame and not a sport for tough guys.

Should get a Slammy Award for most fan friendly performer. 😂
In an interview with TMZ.com, Rollins commented on the incident:
“It’s terrifying, brother. It happened very quickly. I was mostly just reacting and hoping that our security would come and do their job. Which they did very quickly. And then was just trying to detach and move on. Hope that everybody is okay.”
“Once the tackle happened I knew what was going on. The guy was barreling around the corner … no serious injuries. Nothing like that. I was safe, we were safe. Everything was okay.”
“I think as a precedence he probably should not be allowed at the events.”
