SmackDown preview, Feb. 4, 2022: Paul Heyman rejoins Universal Champion Roman Reigns
At Royal Rumble, Paul Heyman betrayed his client Brock Lesnar when he helped Roman Reigns interfere in The Beast’s match with Bobby Lashley, costing Lesnar the WWE Championship in the process. With the WWE Universe in shock, Heyman then took his leave alongside The Head of the Table.
In the wake of his treachery, Heyman will rejoin Reigns on SmackDown. Find out what happens when The Bloodline reunites once again, tonight at 8/7 C on FOX. Ronda Rousey to appear on SmackDown, choose who she will challenge at WrestleMania
Fresh off her explosive Royal Rumble Match victory on Saturday, Ronda Rousey dropped the outspoken Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch on Monday Night Raw before informing the outraged titleholder that she will be at SmackDown to announce which Women’s Champion she will challenge at WrestleMania 38.
Which championship will The Baddest Woman on the Planet target at WrestleMania? Find out tonight at 8/7 C on FOX. The return of Drew McIntyre
After suffering a two-on-one backstage attack from Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss at WWE Day 1, former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre made a shocking comeback in last Saturday’s Royal Rumble Match, returning from his severe neck injury months earlier than expected! In addition to sending both Corbin and Moss over the top rope, The Scottish Warrior battled all the way to the end of the high-stakes free-for-all before being the last Superstar eliminated by the victorious Brock Lesnar.
Tonight, McIntyre’s path of destruction resumes when he makes his explosive return to SmackDown at 8/7 C on FOX.

**THE FOLLOWING IS AN UNPAID ADVERTISEMENT FOR WFIGS RETRO WATCH NIGHT**Tomorrow night, February 5 @ 7 pm ESTNo member shall be turned away from the excitement of Retro Watch Night! WF member and resident Bobby Heenan guy The Brain hosts another evening of nostalgic fun, reliving the 1996 edition of the annual WCW event SuperBrawl. Check out all of yesteryear's megastars and chat it up, right here on your favorite forum! From the sunny shores of St. Petersburg, Florida, SuperBrawl 1996 was capped by TWO main events, both contested inside a solid steel cage! The Taskmaster continued his crusade to end Hulkamania, confident in the talents of Dungeon of Doom ace The Giant. Could the mammoth man put Hogan to rest, or will the unrelenting hero continue to run wild in the place where the big boys play? The crown jewel of WCW, the World Heavyweight Championship, also hung in the balance. Titleholder Randy Savage looked to stand the challenge of "Nature Boy" Ric Flair while bringing in the assistance of longtime associate Miss Elizabeth to counteract the underhanded tactics of Flair's entourage. Which man would walk out of the Bayfront Arena with all the prizes? Sting and Lex Luger were surely fighting champions as holders of the Tag Team titles, slated to perform double duty defending their gold. Konnan and Johnny B. Badd hoped to retain each of their own singles titles. Taskmaster had a beef of his own, being booked against Brian Pillman in a strap match where R-E-S-P-E-C-T was the name of the game. Exclusively on the Classics board! Join the conversation tomorrow night at 7 pm EST and following along with the show on your platform of choice. RWN rolls on, never slowing down and never stopping! forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/360199/brains-retro-watch-night?page=483

Looking forward to more Sami/Knoxville stuff. With Nakamura cleared, hopefully we are close to the match with Sami. He won’t go to Saudi to so have to imagine it’ll be a tv match.
Roman vs Goldberg will be a solid end to Goldberg.
Hope Drew moves past Corbin and Moss
Looking like Ronda will pick Charlotte. Their Survivor Series match was a blast so I look forward to it.
When’s the Uso/Vikings match supposed to happen?

I’m sure the Internet will looove this show.
Also, just put the damn belt on Sami already.

Can't tell if I couldn't hear Heyman from the truck cut & pasting audience boos or because of Roman's bowls in his mouth

Goldberg still has one of those themes that gets me hype as hell where I could run through a wall...
But Gad-damnit man, stay in the 90s

At least this may be the swan song for Goldberg, he has said he is most likely done after the end of this contract.

I can’t be too upset with old Bill going to Saudi to get smashed by the Tribal Chief. It’s just played out now and makes no sense that he can just pop up a few times a year for a title shot.

Am I wrong for thinking that Goldberg vs Omos at mania would be some sort of weird sick dream match?

I’m sure the Internet will looove this show. Also, just put the damn belt on Sami already. I’m probably the only one that wants Sami to defend the IC title against Knoxville at Wrestlemania. Put the belt on Johnny and watch the world burn.

This is the first time that no one has to worry about Goldberg winning. Roman is the perfect man to retire him.
