EDIT: He's wrestling next week. I definitely cannot see that match going ahead. If he's not gonna work Money in the Bank then he's certainly not going to wrestle on a random Smackdown. Riddle will most likely be attack pre match. |

I don’t see how he’s hurt. The rumor was that he got injured at Mania but he worked that big 6 man tag at backlash, then got really physical in that beatdown after the tag-title unification. If he isn't injured, then I've no idea what they're doing. Saying that, the main event of Hell in a Cell plus the two Money in the Bank matches are fine replacements for a title match, but I'd rather see a title match headlining PPV's if that makes sense. |

Roman Reigns right now is that type of performer that doesn't need the title to be over. This Roman two belt bullcrap is boring, and it hurts that Raw doesn't have a World Champion and since WrestleMania the world title wasn't defended at 3 PLE/WWE Network shows (WM Backlash, Hell in a Cell, & Money in the Bank). Vince needs to get one of these titles off Roman ASAP.

Whether or not Roman actually wrestles on Smackdown, I don't know. I highly suspect something will go down to stop the match. I also suspect there is a beatdown coming the way of Sami Zayn in the near future but we'll see.
But I do agree that there was no point in unifying the titles if they were going to take them off the show. Unless Roman is injured, which is debatable, there is no reason that they're just sitting on the big belts like this. So much of RAW and especially Smackdown has felt like pointless filler lately. I feel bad for the people in the live crowds that go to see a show and get 10 consecutive video packages. And why the hey was a posedown the main event of RAW this week? I want to love WWE so much but dang they are making it difficult!

If they wanted the unification to work, they should've put the belts on someone who will actually show up. Even giving them to Lesnar - who was the most over he's ever been, would've been better than Reigns holding them hostage. What the hell are they thinking using Orton, Riddle, Nakamura, the Usos, and tag team wrestling in main event spots? Nobody wants to see that! Vince clearly hates singles wrestling and only cares about tag teams. Latest word is the old man doesn’t want the WWE title in particular being featured until Cody no longer has the “TNA stink” and is ready to win it. Plans currently are for the returning Bray Wyatt to cost Cody the Money in the Bank ladder match and embark on a long feud over Cody being the preferred “prodigal son” - this should finish up by Survivor Series and cement Rhodes as the next big player. He is slotted in right now as the winner of the men’s Royal Rumble in 2023, but his opponent at WrestleMania is not yet decided. Plans may change depending on whether WWE can lock down The Rock to face Roman Reigns, but the current working idea for the top WrestleMania matches is: The Rock vs Roman Reigns Randy Orton (champion) vs Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship Drew McIntyre (champion) vs Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey Bianca Belair vs Charlotte Flair The women’s matches will be for the titles, but WWE has yet to decide which show will be which. Vince is reported to be furious about the Becky/Charlotte title swap angle last year and creative have been ordered to get their ducks in a row by the draft so that can’t happen again. "TNA stink"... I really wish WWE would have gone with Roman vs. Lashley for Summerslam. While the rash of injuries are partially to blame for a rehash of Lesnar-Reigns, it's become obvious that WWE doesn't have nearly enough drawing power right now since they're going right back to part-timers.

I wonder what would happen if Brock Lesnar beat Roman Reigns at Summer Slam for both belts??
For some reason, I have this feeling WWE might be tinkering with that possibility.
How would you guys feel about that???
If Lesnar is to become Champion again, whom should beat him for the titles??

The only "flop" about the Championship Title Unification is the fact that we still have Raw and Smackdown Women's Champions. I'd keep the Intercontinental and United States Championship Titles separate, if necessary.
