That Rare/Chase Shawn Spears figure may be not only the best AEW Rare/Chase figure IMO, but may even be the best AEW figure period. It looks so good, that metallic teal color really pops & that hoodie/scarf thing is cool too. Unfortunately, it will be very difficult to find at retail & it seems to go for over $100 on eBay, etc. Does anyone own this figure (pics if possible please) or think as highly about this figure as I do? I'm not really a big fan of him, I'm actually more of a fan of his wife, LOL. I just think that figure looks so sweet. Hopefully, I can find it at retail or a good price one day.

I like his regular figure better. Also, which Jazwares AEW figures has the open palm hands so I can have him do the 10 gesture? I tried using Mattel John Cena hands but they dont fit.

I would definitely pick the chase up if I could find it in store but if not I'm good with the Mattel Tye. Imo its a lot nicer figure then the regular version but just not big enough of a fan to go out of my way for it.

Maybe Luchasaurus if you acetone all the tattoos and finger paint. Only two I can think of with spread out fingers that may work.

100%, best fig. I'm sad it's a chase but I'll get it for cheap enough eventually - gotta wait for an opener.

I have the RSC Exclusive Jurassic Express set and their hands are more like claws than open palms.

I hope I find it. I’ll either buy it at retail if I find it or trade another chase/rare for it.
I don’t give in to paying $100+ for a toy someone paid $20 for

Agreed, this is one of my favorites in my AEW Collection, along with Series 6 Jake Hager Rare. The colors pop on both figures, but Spears Rare might take #1 for me.

I have the Elite #57 version, so I wont buy the regular jazwares version. But if I ever found one a chase version at retail, it would be an easy buy. I don't get why Jazwares doesn't just make chase versions of figures as online exclusive versions that cost more than the regular retail version. I don't get why a company cares about the resell/secondary market; unless the manufacturer is hording chases so they can resell later and profit.
Id like it if the AEW chases were available on RSC like WWE' Elite Chases are. I'd pay a few bucks more for a paint job I like more. But I'm not paying $100+ for a figure that at it's base version, I wouldn't pay $20 for at retail.

It’s definitely one of my favorite figures I own. While not 100% accurate I like it most with the chase tights and the top half of the regular version.

I mean...it's an OK figure. But it's Shawn Spears. Not the last chopper out of Saigon.

I love the colors of the tights & the hoodie scarf thing. That metallic teal just pops nicely. Not paying over $50 for it though.

I bought a regular version from RSC on sale. IF, I could get a chase, I'd swap the regular non-screaming head and give him the logo chair and I think it would be an amazing figure.

I found the rare/chase Spears at a Target near the beginning of the year. Its still the only time I saw that set in stores as that Target restocked with older sets after. Funniest part was it was on a day two days after my route usually has me going through that area and was only there because of vehicle troubles on the regular day.
