If Rock were to be used for WM40 in some sort of way, shape, or form, how would you book it?
I was thinking maybe they could do a thing where Paul claims he’s getting Rock to be Roman’s cornerman for WM40, since by then Roman will have broken up and feuded with all of the Bloodline members (maybe wishful thinking on my part, but I feel like he could do PLEs with Jimmy, Jey, and Solo, not dissimilar from some of the PPV world title matches he had in the fall of 2020 with Jey). Night One, Paul comes out for a big contract signing for DJ to sign on as Roman’s cornerman for Night Two. Then they do a big segment with the two men (Roman isn’t in town yet on Night One, but he’s counting on Paul to get this signing done). Paul and Rock have a big segment, play to the crowd, entertain them. Ultimately Rock Rock Bottoms Paul and says “HELL NO!” to the cornerman idea, ultimately predicting a Cody win for Night Two.
Just a way to book Rock for the show without him having to work or be a special ref, which might overshadow Cody’s win on Night Two.

The only way I personally want to see The Rock again would be to put over WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns. There’s no other opponent I’d care to see The Rock face at this point. I’m completely over The Rock.

But realistically, if he were to wrestle, Rock vs Reigns would be the obvious choice.

The only thing that really makes sense is him and Roman Reigns. Not sure who would go over, it would make sense for Rock to lose to Roman, but with the Bloodline imploding, the Rock beating Roman at WM40 could be used as the final nail in the coffin for the bloodline. Have all the other family members leave Roman before hand, leaving Roman with just Heyman. After Roman loses to the Rock, Heyman walks out on him.

Easy Rock should be at WM 40 but doing a "Rock Concert" with his guest Stone Cold Steve Austin.Have the two sing and goof around for a bit and then some young heel or heels get involved and both Rock & Austin lay the Smackdown on them.
Super easy to book,something the fans would love but also keeps a 60 year old Austin from wrestling or Dwayne a decade plus past his last match.

So if Rock is wrestling, maybe have him team with the Usos against Imperium? If not, have him guest enforce Roman vs Cody.

Rock is only getting older and more roided up.
The time was two months ago in Hollywood. The time has passed. Focus on the guys active and continue to build your next face of the company(Cody Rhodes)
