For me other than the wrestlers themselves I think the ring announcers are the most important part we see on screen, they are the voices you hear most and I think people like Lilian Garcia, Tony Chimel and Justin Roberts definitely have a place in the Hall of Fame.

Wouldn't mind Lillian Garcia going in, but apart from her and Fink I don't think there's many others that are as worthy of a spot.

I don't get how so many of you above say 'no'!
Lillian doesn't deserve a HOF spot eventually? Her voice can be heard and her face can be seen across almost 4 decades of some of the most important moments in wrestling. Shes ultra unproblematic and beloved by her peers. Fantastic at the job. Has some fun wrestler interactions. She was on TV weekly for like 11 years! Deserving!!
Same can be said for Tony Chimel. He joined thw WWF in 1989 and was a staple on TV for years in the 2000s. He didn't fully leave the company until 2020. Some of his intros are legendary. Him and Lillian in a lot of ways are voices that can bring you right back to being a kid in the late 90s and 2000s. That's a HOF career in my opinion.
I'm not 100% sold on Justin Roberts but I think a case could be made for him to go in eventually. I honestly seel like Roberts will be better known for his AEW stint than his WWE stint when its all said and done.

Unless your name is "The Fink" no, lol, no they shouldn't be. NOBODY has ever paid to see a silly ring announcer, or a ref for that matter. I deal with so many announcers in the indys that demand their own theme music, have their own gimmicks, etc, and it's hilarious when they never sell a thing.

Wrestling is a show - So why not? I honestly even think they should start inducting matches one day - We dont even know what the credentials are for the WWE HOF

Idk about ring announcers specifically unless they separate themselves like the Buffers with their unique voices and taglines but I'd love to see more managers, valets and color commentators/play by play announcers go in as a whole. A lot of them make or break a moment.

The people saying no are being disrespectful imo.
Ring announcing isn't an easy job, they are on the road with the wrestlers 24/7 and are announcing in front of thousands of people. I bet none of us could do it without getting nervous and stumbling our words.
Lets not forget the likes of Chimel and Garcia. Along with Fink they had two of the most recognisable voices in wrestling.

Lillian Garcia for sure. Tony Chimel too, although I feel like heβs less likely to get it in the current format.

I just find them under appreciated and sometimes they have there unforgettable moments like Lillian with the national anthem or that you think of when you think of wrestlers like Tony Chimal with Edge, reason for including Justin Roberts is because he was there for the 2009/2010 house shows i went to.

Fink should be in, and is. Samantha Irvin should go in whenever she leaves.
That's really it.

I want to see Bob Caudle in the WWE Hall of Fame eventually one day! He was the voice of Mid Atlantic Wrestling TV.

I deal with so many announcers in the indys that demand their own theme music, have their own gimmicks, etc, and it's hilarious when they never sell a thing. What an awful take. Are you telling me that coaches in major league sports such as the NBA and MLB shouldnβt be inducted in their respective hall of games because βno one pays to see them?β Are you telling me that someone like Jim Ross shouldnβt have been inducted? Technically the love crowd doesnβt hear the commentary team at all so no one in the live crowd is paying for them either. Are they less important than a ring announcer and further donβt deserve to be inducted in the hall of fame? Ring announcers, refs, commentary, etc are all under appreciated for their work isnβt at the forefront of the show but is absolutely necessary to make everything work. By the way, Lilian and Tony definitely deserve it.
