Gunther is boring. He's a boring Intercontinental Champion too. The fact he is the one to break Honky Tonk Man's record is a crying shame.
I am not sure what people like about Gunther. But to each their own, I guess.

Gunther is a great wrestler. Honky Tonk Man was a character, but sucked.

i would book Gunther to win the WWE belt from Rollins. then have him relinquish the IC title. Have an IC tourney. Gable wins it and becomes IC champ. Gable wins Royal Rumble. Faces gunther at mania. Walks out with the IC and WWE world heavyweight belt I think Gunther loses the IC Title sometime before the Rumble, wins the Rumble, defeats Rollins in the main event of WM40 Night 1. Idk where Priest would factor in though, maybe he tries to cash I'm on Rollins, but Finn costs him.

Thoughts:
Gable is a damn star and it's about time he gets his due. Now that Gunther beat HTM record, I'd love to see Gable end up with that belt, but it might be a bit of a difficult sell to just keep giving him chances. Maybe at Fastlane? An Ironman match would be epic if they went for it.
Piper is supposedly sick not injured but DANG those belts really are cursed! I feel bad for Chelsea she's had, what, three partners now? Dang.
I don't like Drew with Riddle. At all. Drew needs to turn heel immediately. He's lost most of his relevancy at this point and I feel a good heel turn is just the thing to bring back his momentum.
Say what you will about Miz, he's a heck of a workhorse. Outside of the rare one here or there, guy doesn't have a ton of bad matches or segments. He's like a running back who would always gain three yards on every play, no more or no less. And that's just fine because sometimes you really need those three yards and it's good to have someone you can count on.
Jey is so insanely over but, as much as I adore the guy, he didn't feel very steady on his feet out there alone tonight. He relaxed a bit when Sami showed up but I'm concerned for how well he's going to be Main Event Jey Uso if he's that nervous alone in the ring at the top of the show. I'm sure he'll figure it out though over time.
They REALLY are making it clear TJD is the new Bloodline and they aren't even being subtle about it. Unfortunately, while people loved to hate the Bloodline (making them enjoyable to watch) from my perspective, people just hate seeing The Judgement Day period, especially with how they are being pushed as the new Bloodline. That magic doesn't spark twice and no, no amount of drowning it in "Ucey Magic" is gonna fix that. They're good, but not THAT good and it's starting to get very stale, especially with how obviously they are relying on Sami to keep their plot moving.
As for Kevin, two things. 1. I didn't expect him to be here tonight and I'll honestly be shocked at this point if he makes India. He was a wreck after payback and probably spent tonight sitting at home watching Raw on a donut. and 2. As much as I would love to see the idea of a Sami/Kevin/Cody/Jey/Becky team to take out The Judgement Day, it's taken all of one episode to make me doubt that will happen. The way the segment with Adam Pierce went, the trade to Smackdown is either going to be Cody, Kevin, or Sami and while the first one is the one that would make the most business sense, it's also the one that moves the plot forward the least.
All in all, decent episode of Raw and that main event was FIRE

Not a fan of the relinquishing the title idea. He's the longest reigning champion EVER. Someone could seriously benefit from beating him for it. Would be a huge anti climax if he just vacated it and feel like a consolation prize for whoever wins it in a tournament that will probably comparison of a bunch of guys Gunther has already beaten.

Chad f*cking Gable
And please give Sami something different to do,seems like he's just spinning his wheels at this point. I don't think many would call their title reign a success, so now since they got the titles off them. Give him something fresh to do instead of repeating the Jey and JD stories. Jey and the Judgment Day are doing great on their own,now give Sami a new focus going forward to seeing he can get that spark again.

Even though I was falling asleep around 9:30 last night, I thought RAW was good.
Tag match was good, Chelsea sold like she went to Curt Hennig’s school of bumping, and Gable/Gunther was great. Some slow build moves were made and new questions were created. Grabbed my interest on the future directions of many talents.
Ciampa, Jey, JD, Nakamura, Sami and Kevin, etc.

Caught the rest of Raw. It picked up pretty good after the first hour by I'm not a big fan of the format WWE uses for TV. Alot of TV matches have been great recently so maybe use TV for solid matchups with mid-upper card talent that doesn't get to work many PLEs?
Just a thought....
However, I'm starting to notice this supposed long term creative. It's not huge things but it's the callbacks from commentary, an inverted finish from a prior feud, just little things. I like it but overall TV is still too boring for me to watch a whole show live. I belive Raw's airtime to be around 2 hours 20 minutes and I may actually watch 45 of it
