This sucks. I hope Mattel could find a way to rerelease Bret and Piper at some point. Sucks not to have a damn Walmart.

Not the ideal situation I’m sure, but the best bet is probably to keep an eye on the secondary market. At $32 retail price, $45-50 isn’t a completely terrible price to pay for something you most likely won’t see at retail.

Man just taking a look at popfindr and seeing all the stores get the legends figures day by day, all the stores around me have the new legends sets.
But Walmart, who makes more money can't do the same.
Smh.

I have to think we'll see most of the Walmart UE figures get re-releases eventually. They're doing the Target exclusive Batista (with different tights). There's probably some kind of exclusivity window, so it may take a couple years. But I'm sure we'll get them eventually.

Anything other than that is above what I’m willing to pay for. I love action figures, but I have my limits. Mind you, I’ve been spamming about that black ultimate Bret for years 😂 Let’s see what happens. If anyone finds a spare Bret and Piper and wants to help a brother out, let me know. I don’t need the box.

You’re right, but a lot of us have been waiting for that black singlet Bret and it’s nearly unobtainable. No online preorder, if you don’t have a Walmart (like me), you’re out of luck so the only resort is paying scalper prices. I’d really like to see this UE Bret redone in his salmon WCW Halloween Havoc gear with a resized US belt, some new scans with either the shorter hair strands sculpted on to his forehead or just not in the way. Accessories could include a hockey jersey and interchangeable jacket.

It was a great figure outside the color (although I didn't mind it).

WrestlingFigWig it was a good figure other than the color issue. For me however, it was really what brought me to dislike it. I felt like it was the main thing about the attire that stood out. I would of been okay with some of the shades of the pink we had gotten before. I think the first ultimate Bret’s pink would be fine for the WCW Bret. If Mattel could use the elite 95 scan with shoulder length hair, that would be a fantastic Bret.

im finding myself agreeing with alot of the sentiments on here. series one was pretty strong. hogan just after turning is great. Scott Hall from the Outsiders angle? huge to MNW--great choice. Stone Cold--essentially a re-release of the old DM figure but we need more street gear SCSA; most if not all of his wrestling looks have been done lets start getting more jeans and shirt Stone Colds. Undertaker was also essential to the line, they did their best? to bring a somewhat new ministry look to the line which was really just a hodge podge of already available undertaker parts and a new headscan with a bad goatee. series two kinda loses me a bit. kevin nash from outsiders angle, yeah A+ figure, duh. Triple H......kinda ehhhhh on the choice and attire although he was all up on our screens during the MNW so yeah i guess. Rey Mysterio? i mean okay yeah he was huge in the cruiserweight division in WCW but why oh why are we doing the failed stage ultimate figure attire? i dont know that anyone wants or needs another rey like this, to be honest i was still kinda ehh on the filty animals figure but it was way cooler than this. fake diesel? i genuinely have 0 interest in this figure at all. he looked goofy on TV the figure looks stupid and i dont think anyone wants a glen jacobs fake diesel figure. like, yeah it happened during the MNW and yeah it was meant for Vince to have dealt a blow to the guys leaving and be symbolic but it was a huge flop on tv and just really lame for everyone. diesel was cool as hell but putting glen jacobs in the gear was an abomination. series 3 makes a bit of a comeback for me as i can deal with getting an updated harlem heat and the chase figures look really rad. RVD i love the gear, genuinely confused as to why mattel are giving him gargano syndrome legs and not using the old Neville kickpad mold as that fits the look RVD wore at the time. the rock figure pisses me off because its a re-release of a figure i already have. they could have just as easily done those original polynesian trunks he wore that had red/white and green designs around the waist instead of doing a look that they already have done. getting concerned because i felt like this like was meant to give us MNW specific guys and gear but its trailing off hard as far as being unique. Disciple BAF is probably the most MNW figure we're getting like thats the well of characters and looks i want them pulling from. I’ll give you the answer you’re looking for it’s a shiny “new” sub line to just continue making the same guys we’ve gotten for 14 years. This line won’t last long at all. They don’t have the talent to sustain it for many series. No Sting, Giant, Flair, Bagwell, Jericho, Outlaws, Mainly a ton of wcw and Wwf midcard talent. They’ve made all the variations of Xpac already. This line needs the mid carders desperately to be worth a damn and they don’t have any under contract. Possibly we get 96-97 era Steiners in it. I don’t see this going very deep maybe 4-5 series at most unless they plan on continuing to just remake the same guys over and over again They actually haven’t done the neon green and white DX X-Pac attire yet as either an Elite or Basic, so if anything I can see them shoehorning him into this line with that look. imgur.com/MITWZP6With his E33 figure being released a decade ago now could be a good time for them to release a new black and green X-Pac, this time with all the new bells and whistles (FX scan, swappable hands, pinless double jointed elbows.) His return attire with the jeans and jacket to join DX the night after WMXIV is also an option as that was one of the more noteworthy moments of his career and of the Monday Night War in general.

Maybe Mattel should just go ahead and raise the MSRP to $45-50 on these things too since it's not so terrible!

When you consider what the cost of the figure is… adding on tax, somebody obtaining the figure for you (especially if they’re going there for the sole purpose of getting the figure), so a little payment towards that person for doing the favor. Then you add shipping. If it’s from the secondary market… taxes, shipping and the percentage the platform takes. The seller isn’t making much from the figure at all. Now, I think asking something like $70+ is a bit ridiculous.

To the guy who said that nobody wanted Fake Diesel.
Not true. He's actually one of my biggest wants from this entire line and I wish there had been a way to preorder him. I'd love a Fake Razor as well but that probably isn't happening.
ALso, the Rocky is the one figure from this entire line I actually DO have preordered. Hope he actually shows up like the Maivia 3-Pack did.

I def want the ultimate Bret Hart but if I don’t find it at retail I’m cool passing. I have the original DM BH which I still almost find superior in some ways.

At $32 retail price, $45-50 isn’t a completely terrible price to pay for something you most likely won’t see at retail. Doing that for a few figures ok. But an entire line? That would get pretty costly. I havent counted the numbers of figures in the next 2 series but 20×50 plus tax + shipping = 1000+$$$. Many of us would rather choose to wait and take our chances with walmart. As long as we can get the brunt of each series. If they pop up 1 at a time like what happened to the guy on the previous page who finally found hogan after all this time than the line has no long term chance of survival. But this is par for the course for walmart exclusive lines. Walmart is simply unable to get exclusive goods in customer hands. Whether they are buried underneath pallets of newer items or lost in unorganized stock rooms and/or stolen out of the warehouses (or all 3 reasons; most likely combination). If this line was with target we would all find them without any problems. Sad state of affairs. Edit: the mnw figures retail for 32$ now? i dont remember paying much more than 22$ for series 1. What did i miss?
