Not to be all conspiracy theorist...
The CW made the NWA deal. But now that they have landed WWE NXT, if wonder if the CW are doing whatever they can to back out of, steamroll, and minimize the NWA deal. Using the Sinister Minister situation as a means to an end. I find it hard to believe the CW execs were THAT upset at it, considering all the other stuff on their shows.

I heard solomonster talk about this point and he was like when people watch drama shows they know it’s drama, it’s fake. Wrestling is kinda that inbetween which is why real life stuff doesn’t work. People don’t want real like in their wrestling. They don’t want alcoholic Hawk, Fritz Von Erich faking a heart attack, they don’t want their characters doing lines of cocaine on the show.

Why can't a channel have two different promotions? It's all just ratings for them. And fans won't watch one just because of the other. The only party who'd have an issue with it is WWE.

Won’t really affect me being in the UK but I really hate that they took NXT off the WWE Network once they moved to USA because it then moved to BT Sports (now TNT Sports) for us over here. I used to love the Network for PPVs, NXT live, original content and we don’t get nearly as much as we do now compared to when it first started 🙄
