... should this be Rocks' last ever match? Or should he do a few more?
I'm thinking he'll retire from the ring after this dream match, but I honestly wouldn't mind if he wrestled some more.
Well, at least he won't be ending his in ring career with that match against Eric Rowan at WM32 lol.

I'm a fan of the Rock but would be just fine if it was his final match.

as cool as it is and as much as we have wanted it, we all know he is gonna lose to Roman...
passing the torch though is not really the thing here since we know he will eventually lose the strap and half retire - the reason he is part timer is due to his health, he really cannot afford to wrestle weekly.
Rock's final match but not his final appearance.

I hope to God it's his last match. Rock coming back and wrestling does nothing for me. Just get the match over with, cause I guess I'm in the minority, Rock/Roman has never, and will never be a dream match for me. I have no interest in seeing it, I just want it to be done and over with.

Ive been trying to think of every scenario adding the Rock where one would make sense.
Would you dare have Cody take the title off Roman at Chamber after this long? This way you can still do Rock/Roman (wouldnt need the title) as a Mania dream match and do something like Cody vs. a heel turn Orton for the title? But Roman losing doesnt seem like it'd mean as much being off Mania and Cody "finishes the story" on some other stage. Would be an incredible shock though to see Roman lose anywhere but Mania at this point.
Do you make the main event at Mania a triple threat? With all due respect to Cody he kinda would seem like the odd man out. You could have Cody pin Rock but doesnt do much for Cody not beating Roman clean. Feels like unfinished business.
Do you do Roman/Rock on Night 1 and Roman/Cody on Night 2? Pretty much defeats Rock/Roman before it starts as you would know Roman is going to go over Rock to get to Night 2/Cody.
Do you have Cody take MITB off Priest? This way Rock/Roman "main events" but then you get a Cody cash in and a second full length match after where Cody finally wins.
"IF" (big if) Rock somehow ends up on the Mania card it certainly throws a monkey wrench into a lot of plans.

The stadium in Perth is huge so it’s essentially like a Saudi show and Australia wants Rock bad. Roman beats Rock while Cody wins a Chamber match for the number one contender shot at Wrestlemania. Roman goes in looking like a god and Cody beats him.

I've been over the Rock since 2013. He came back to put over the guy of that era.
Cena has already put over Roman. He's beaten everyone. We all get it. WWE wants him to be the GOAT but anyone who's been watching wrestling more than 10 years knows better.
Time to move on....

Just realized that Elimination Chamber will be airing in the early morning on the east coast. Would they really do Rock/Roman at an event that majority of their viewers won’t be watching live? 🤔

Whatcha think the chances are that while Roman responds tomorrow on Smackdown, Rock also appears live?
Pretty wishful thinking I guess since I'll be there haha deep down hope.

Roman will make a quick comment about not acknowledging Rock and then move on. Don’t think actual build starts until after the Rumble.

Sorry, but these Cody Rhodes "finishing the story"/winning the title plans, need to be put on the back-burner for a while... 'cos there are more important stories - and people to worry about now.

I do think this is an example of us being in this wrestling bubble, but the rock being willing to come back and wrestle a match and be on your tv show, ultimately trumps anything else you have planned. He is one of the biggest celebrities on the planet who also happen to come from your company. I still think it’s at chamber until noted, but if it is mania, well those are the breaks. Rock has only gotten bigger since 2013. And the eyes on the product for that match would be huge.

Can't believe it's happening at Elimination Chamber.
Rock Vs Roman is WM quality.

They should just use Rock one situation at a time, really the way they have been. It's actually still frustrating to me they did Rock vs Cena at Mania 29. I think if that goes well, we might not even be having this match now. And I do think this match is going to need a little Rock vs Hogan X8 crowd magic. If this is it, I hope it goes great and Rock gets his flowers in the form of 60-70k people giving him a standing ovation.
I will say, this is the first time I've felt Reigns is in a place where he's worthy of the Rock match. Beating Cody did that for him imo. That was the natural moment to move the belt off him and he kept it. So now he's got this mythical booking that not even the Rock can conquer. If ever there was a time to let Reigns win clean, no interference at all, Solo stops Jimmy in this scenario since it's for the Chiefdom, it's against Rock. So I hope that's the case and then they dump all that energy into Cody beating Reigns and finishing the story. Because in my mind, that's how you use Rock's stardom to benefit the next year of television, if not beyond.

If you wanna give Cody the biggest rub you can, you use The Rock to elevate Roman and Cody all at once. You have Roman beat Rock at Elimination Chamber. Then you have Cody beat Roman.

Yeah, I think it should be his last match. I don't really have a desire to see him work with anybody else at this point.
