Let’s have the rock host mania this year During the main event solo interferes again, rocks music hits he comes down, kicks ass, Cody wins the belt Next night on raw Rock says mania 41 Rock vs Roman without the belt on hostage. Sounds like a plan!

Unless he signs a new deal, Sting will be free and clear to put on 1 of his red, white & blue coats/jackets and be in Cody's corner at Mania. Why Sting? Because I want to see it, that's why.
But if you need a reason, Sting respects Dusty. Has known Cody since he was baby. Wants to see him finish his story for Dusty and his family. Blah, Blah, Blah. Sting could also make a comparison to his battles with the NWO and Cody's battles with the Bloodline. When Solo tries to interfere, Sting can take him out.
Sting's interactions with Heyman would be great given their history in WCW. And if Sting signs a Legends/Nostalgia Deal as part of all this, all the better.

Anyone get the impression after the rumble that Bianca vs Jade is gonna be a mania match? Not yet. Nia and Becky had more action with Jade then Bianca. They have plenty of time to let those two meet.

I said this in the Rock/Roman thread ... you can't do Rock/Roman if Roman loses to Cody. It makes him weak. Rock is supposed to take on the unbeatable monster Roman. Once he loses to Cody, the Bloodline is dead and the Table means nothing.

Bianca/Jade seems the most logical match for either one at Mania imo. Would love to get a TNA champ Grace vs Bianca but that seems very unlikely, so these two seems almost a lock at this point if Jade is getting on the card in a one on one match. What else is left for either besides each other, maybe Liv,Nia or Naomi(those last two doesn't scream big Mania match for two ladies like Bianca or Jade)? Guessing the Warriors stays in the tag division and to late to bring anyone up(Roc or Tiff)or in unless Sasha is on the table, not a whole lot of places to go. Guilia or AJ would be amazing but don't know if that's likely atm.

I think you can do Rock/ Roman without the belt, It just depends on how the belt is lost. Say Rock costs Roman the belt and the story is, Rock saying you never defended it legitimately so I did to you what you did to everyone else. Now Roman feels like he was screwed, in the eyes of the fans, he wasn’t really beat clean. And then they go on to do a head of the table story

So what do we most likely have coming out of the Rumble?
Cody/Roman Rollins/Punk Bayley/Iyo Rhea/Becky Logan/Knight Jey/Jimmy Rey/Escobar or something with LWO/Legado
Maybe Finn/Priest or them defending their tag titles Bianca/Jade Sami/Drew Asuka&Kairi defending their tag titles(more then likely in a multi team match)
Gunther,Orton,AJ,Lashley and KO seems the biggest names up in the air, especially Gunther with the Brock stuff now.

Just curious as to why everyone thinks Jade/Bianca is the match? Yes, they had a brief stand off. But still ...
Because they're both tall, athletic, women of color? Because they've both held a championship? I don't get it.
Right now the story is Nia because Jade handled her in the Rumble. Sure they could start/end that before WM but right now, that's the story.

Will be very interesting if they do a swerve and Cody says he wants Rollins. I don't see how that fits Cody's character well because it looks as if he is running from Roman, and they've built the "finish the story" narrative too much to this point for him to pick anyone else.
I guess we are sort of on the hook on if Rock returns or not and how that'll throw a wrench into the plans. This seems like the most likely year for a Rock return for years now. I think its likely that he inevitably does not return for a match at WrestleMania...but once the seeds are planted, the Cody picture is confusing.
Also if Cody for some reason challenges Rollins, it puts Punk in an odd position. He could always face Drew or Gunther at WrestleMania but the path to Rollins just seems so obvious. They are big time matches but I think they aren't big enough for Punk's first WrestleMania back in the position he is in.
Of course, its 2 nights now and someone could always pull double duty. But I don't see how that would really work out. Cody Vs Roman on N1 and Roman Vs Rock on N2? Then Cody loses and I imagine a large section fans who wanted Cody to finish the story would be more likely to be sour during the N2 main event. I don't see Rock coming in to be the N1 main event and probably being outshined in the N2 main event if they were to do Roman Vs Rock then Roman Vs Cody. Cody Vs Rock on N1 and winner challenges Rock on N2 is odd because Rock losing to Cody seems unlikely, especially in a N1 main event match where Cody would go on to N2. And I just don't really see a triple threat scenerio here because that really muddies up the whole story of Cody-Roman and Rock-Roman by combining them together.
Maybe I am overanalyzing here but the picture might be more murky than it looks right now. And I like it that way! Its a lot less predictable and I am just thinking that there is a big domino effect here depending on if a single thing goes one way or another.

Bianca, who is all of the sudden Miss WrestleMania, versus Jade on the show of shows. Or...Nia Jax Vs Jade on the show of shows. I think that's all that needs to be said.

Lol you can't rule it out brother I think there is some real merit to WWE wanting to modernize a lot of the company's history. Having Roman beating Hogan's record as champion means he's gotta retain. Bruno's run is out of the realm of what fans will put up with IMO but Roman is really not *that* far off from Hogan's record. Bruno was something like 2800+ days, but Hogan's is just 1,474 days. Roman is currently at 1,240. And I thought Roman beating Cody the first time at last year's WrestleMania was crazy enought...nothing with Roman's run is going to surprise me anymore.
