My main problem with the last game was that the bugs from 06 had not even attempted to be fixed I mean I enjoyed the first SD vs RAW I thought 06 was a dissapointment but 07 just took the piss instead of fixing stuff like the reversal system or the stamina system or AI in tag matches, They spent the development time meking the wrestlers all sweaty.

they should come out with one once every 2 years and focus mostly on game play and have downloadable wrestlers and moves up until the next game is released. I think something like that can be possible in thsi day and age?

The only game in the SD series I ever had fun playing was HCTP. I buy them all the day they come out, but I know I will hate them.

sym was the best bar none, they should still have that fast-paced system with non-grapple moves

Too bad WWE games couldnt be marketed between multiple companies (ie: when NFL and MLB games were made by EA, Sega, etc..). That way we would have a choice, and the competition between the two would be a win win situation for everybody.
Its just too bad that the TNA game wont be coming out till next year. I doubt there is any pressure on Yukes and THQ to make the game any better cause the have the market (on wrestling games) cornered.
Even though I doubt TNA, as a company, will be that much bigger than they are now, once their game comes out, I see it doing pretty well. Then and only then, will THQ really give us a good game again.
[DennisMiller]But, thats just my opinion. I could be wrong[/DennisMiller]

Wrestling games are almost always among the best selling games out there. The problem is that Vince always signs exclusive contracts with publishers. I doubt gaming companies look at wrestling like they do the NFL and most probably wouldn't want to have anything to do with them if they had to compete with other companies making the same game.

I have high hopes for this year.
WWE 24/7 and the Fighting Styles inclusions are enough to purswade me that this game will kick ass.

Ok I know the next game will probally be **** but I will still buy because I like the wrestling games. Pluse I love to make caws because then I brag to friends and people I know on what I made. Im the same way, but thats the main problem in all of this. THQ knows they put s**t on a plate, stamp the WWE logo on it and we would buy it. Thats how it is. Bottom line. Even as much as we complain about all the bugs and what they could do better doesnt matter because, in order for us to critique them, we still have to buy the game. And we put money in their pockets no matter how bad of a game they put out. Crush Hour?? I didn buy it myself, but this is a prime example of wasted time, on THQs part, that couldve been spent on the next actual wrestling game. ...Sorry...Im just as fed up with THQ as I am with WWE TV.....We all know how good they could be if they tried. They just are more concerned with their wallet size as opposed to putting out a quality product.

I was going to get this for the fact ECW had a huge play in it as they claimed which could have opened up gameplay, but now that ECW will most likely be gone before the game comes out, I think I will pass.
