WCW Nitro for the PS1..... That game was one of the most anticipated games of all time back in the day. I remember it being delayed several times, before it finally came out in January of 98. This was when WCW was booming, and coming off the heels of the very popular WCW vs The World video game (that is the most under appreciated wrestling game of all time in my opinion), except this game boasted a full roster of WCW wrestlers and graphics that looked amazing.
I remember being angry at the Gamepro editors for giving it a negative review in the magazine that came out right before it was released. I can remember trying to make the game better than it was after I played it for a few hours. Horrible disappointment.

Any game on Xbox sucked dick mainly for the fact you could hit someone in midmove which defeats all purpose or actually trying to play a match The only games you could do that in were the GC ones. Not Gamecube. On Raw and Raw 2 you could do that also

WM21 was so bad. It had like, 200 moves in it. Not to mention that CAW mode... Oh, man.

For the Gamecube and Raw 1 when ever you hit them they would both just flat out fall to the ground. In Raw 2 for instance if you hit the guy trying to do a suplex he would drop the guy he had in the air but he would still be standing.

Just Bring It. So much hype for being the first SD! game on the PS2. It just flat out sucked.

Just Bring it, I agree as well. I remember reading all the previews for it being so excited and man, did it blow ass.

I'll have to say SmackDown vs. RAW 2005. From all the previews they made it seem like it's gonna be all hot and whatnot. I was really hesitant to buy it when it came out. When I heard all the reviews after the game came out, I was really glad I didn't plunk down fifty bucks on a crap game. So I'll have to say SmackDown vs. RAW is in my eyes a well hyped game but it blowed ass. Compared to Just Bring It, JBI was a better game than SvR '05. Since HCTP lived up to the hype, SmackDown vs. RAW was a huge downgrade.

Smackdown! Just Bring It was incredibly hyped, but ended up a disappointment, and just a prettier rehash of what we already saw on the PSone. Still, it was one of the only wrestling games of the last generation to have up to eight superstars per match, and it was alleviating to beat the crap out of a certain musician.

SvR2007 was a let down, but still it brought some new fun things. Same with 06, it gave us the new (at the time) GM Mode.
So, I'm going to say the original SvR, it was just a forgetable game imo

To add another. Smackdown! Vs. Raw. Alot of hype, New name, promising alot of things for the season mode and it really sucked. Alot of Glitches, Freezing, and the Season was really awful. Roster was lacking, and the Voice Overs on the Season mode was god awful.

You guys are forgetting one key game for any classic fan.
Showdown Legends of Wrestling. This could have been one of the greatest wrestling games of all time. The roster, the arena's all seemed solid.
It seemed lke the perfect game instead it was total garbage.

But it was very glitchy at times. and very slow.

SmackDown! Just Bring It was the worst SmackDown title they's been, and they was a year's hype for it when WWE made the transition to PS2, and boy it took me 2 month to find it and boy I was dissapointed.
