You're never going to get Attitude Era pops for anyone now-a-days because the fans are absolutly dreadful. Everyone's too smart now and knows what's gonna happen before it happens. JR and King's reactions are so ing forced it makes watching and getting excited about a wrestler very difficult. Exactly. And also the fact that the Wrestling sucks ass, The Crowd only react to like a Couple of moves thats used and thats about all..

Wrong, in the attitude era they were going after the older crowd of teens and above.

cause jericho's gimmick isnt the greatest..if he would have just came back as normal y2j then fans would take him more seriously.....but if he were to be a heal, without all the save us crap,t hen he would be better.

Are you guys expecting the crowd to erupt into a frenzied moshpit and bow at his sight whenever Jericho enters through the curtian, or something?

Someone answer me this...why are people saying things to the effect of "You have Goldberg in your sig I can't take you seriously"? So what? Just because he likes a wrestler who don't care for means his opinion is void? I swear to God, most of you are incapable of holding a conversation like big boys.

He's making fun of five year olds, who tend to mark for guys like Goldberg, yet he has him in his sig. It's ironic.

Ok crowds really dont mean crap. Case in point: Jeff Hardy, Goldberg, Warrior, Lashley, and Batista. All get ing loud cheers, and not one of them is anything special in the ring. Turn Jericho heel, have him actually end HBKs career, and that will get the crowd booing as loud as possible. Either way, Jericho is back and Im not letting a bunch of jackasses that dont know how to cheer for real talent ruin it.

They are all a bunch of little kids who don't pay attention from one week to the next. It's really sad to see what the WWE has become. And it's even sadder with the pops Jericho has been getting as of late. So what, you're saying little kids have no right to watch wrestling because of their attention spans? How about we ban watching wrestling for anyone born post 1992? How about that? Would that make it better?Sounds good to me... the product is suffering because of the sudden influx of kiddie fans... They are all a bunch of little kids who don't pay attention from one week to the next. It's really sad to see what the WWE has become. And it's even sadder with the pops Jericho has been getting as of late. Not everyone takes wrestling as seriously as you seem to and tries to be part of some elite group of 'true' wrestling fans. What's sad is that the fans who actually enjoy it are supposedly 'ruining' wrestling and aren't 'real' fans. Small children are ruining wrestling. WWE has been catering to small children for the past 20 years.Currently, maybe - and definitely in the late 80's through to the early 90's... but not during the attitude era, not one bit... That stuff was aimed at adults - hence the Katie Vick angle, Stephanie being kidnapped, Undertaker sacrificing Mideon, hanging Bossman, etc... Nowadays, they can't do the edgier stuff anymore, in fear of upsetting or offending the young kids that make up around two thirds of the current crowd... therefore the content's been gradually watered down till we're left with what we have today... As far as Jericho goes, the underwhelming reactions he's been getting are mainly to do with the kiddie-filled crowds... These kids are not really going to give a monkees about someone like Jericho - who is a virtual unknown to them, when they have been purposefully bombarded, with people like Lashley, Mysterio, Cena, and Batista, during the past couple of years, in which Jericho has been away... During the past couple of years, the number of kids in the audience has increased tenfold...

Only because they had to to beat WCW, then they went right back to their regular formula. And I'd say it was aimed more at teenagers than adults, I mean 'Suck It?' Come on.

Ok a couple of things.
What is with people still saying, Jericho's back it's all that matter's, how long is that going to go on for? It's been 3 weeks now people, I think it's beyond the stage of him just being back.
Getting a reaction is a very important aspect of a wrestler, perhaps the most. Because getting the biggest reaction means your going to be the most marketable.
That's not saying I don't like Jericho, I like him very much, and it's not that the crowds are completely dead because the crowd's have given a bigger pop to at least 1 more individual on each night except his debut. Jericho has never been a big draw, he's a great all round wrestler however he's just not that guy.
And what's with this kids shouldn't be allowed to watch wrestling. WWE/F has been a family show forever. And just because some bitter smarks favorite's don't get the biggest pop then they feel that kids shouldn't be allowed to watch wrestling. The general wrestling is a much more important group than you bitter marks, WWE is going to cater for them and they have a right to cheer for whoever, and it doesn't have to be the guy who'll put on the 5 star match, it has to be the guy who they love. If the wrestling business was full of & catered for the bitter smarks then there wouldn't really be much of a wrestling business tbh.

I love how people isolate kids as wrestling fans, as if they have no right to be watching. Newsflash: YOU WERE ALL ING KIDS ONCE.When you were a kid, say seven, eight years old, did you cheer for the most technically-sounds guys who had five-star matches every night? Did you , back then you probably didn't even know what a suplex was. When you're a kid, like these small children who you guys feel the need to bash to make yourselves feel like a superior wrestling fan, you more than likely cheered for the outlandish characters who grabbed your attention - JUST LIKE TODAY'S YOUNGER FANS DO! They cheer for the Cena's, the Batista's, the Lashley's, the Mysterio's, because they're the guys who are most recognizable, the ones who stand out the most in the WWE of today. So what if they don't know who Jericho is? Seriously, who the hell cares? Most of these kids were like barely a year old when Jericho debuted in 1999, of course some of them won't be familiar with him. You seem to forget that these kids who are like nine, ten and eleven years old, they don't sit at the computer all day, checking Gerweck for the latest scoops and researching the history of wrestling pre-2000's like every other Johnny Internet around here. In due time, as these kids grow older, sure, they may look back and think "man, why was I cheering for that guy? He really wasn't that good at all", but for the timebeing, Jesus Christ, let them wear there Cena T-shirts, let them buy their Rey Mysterio masks, let them take their "BATISTA RULES!" signs to shows. Let them be a ing kid. It makes me sick how some of you guys rag on these kids just because they're not some bitter smark who hates everything. Truth is, they're probably bigger wrestling fans than some of you..

Jericho has been on three shows since his return. His return show, which had probably the worst booked return in the history of returns, he got a massive pop. The second show had him and Santino. You cant get a bad crowd reaction out of that combination. The third was this past monday. The crowd was dead because they were a crapty crowd. They were probably there to see Hornswoggle paint a wall and run through it.

Your watching the wrong business if you think people's cheers dont mean anything. And there are time I would rather watch goldberg and his powerhouse moves then jericho. Depending on what mood im in. To say goldberg had no talent is obsurd.
