You'll understand it a teensy bit better if you perceive "Chemical" and "Drug" to both be metaphors for the girl. Like a drug or chemical, she affects his mind and/or body in what he perceives to be a positive way, which is why he wants her back. To sum up the song in 4 words: Love is a drug. I can understand that "Drug" can mean girl. But "Chemical".. i dont agree. I think the "Chemical" is a feeling or emotion? Well, Kane did start using the song around the time of the Katie Vick storyline... The song was used in mid - late 2002. Katie Vick didnt exist until mid 2003. Actually, that was in 2002 in October. Kane did debut this theme in April of 2002 though, so I don't think there's any connection. It's just lyrics, chill. - Vertan |
