Deffinatly Jericho winning the undesputied title. I Thought Rock was gonna win it, but when he lost I figured "there's no way Jericho can beat stone cold after a match with the rock" I was speechless when he won.

Edge cashing in the MITB at New Years Revolution was big. It was obvious but I didnt remember it until McMahon came out. I marked really bad.
Jericho beating Trips is up there. As well Nitro beating Punk at Vengeance

Nitro beating Punk at Vengeance... That is the only time I have been genuinely shocked at a result... I couldn't believe what I'd just seen - I thought I was dreaming... Who'd have expected that jobber, Nitro, to be given the belt instead of Punk?... WWE hit a new low that night...

Sgt Slaughter over Ultimate Warrior at the Royal Rumble.
Had no idea that the Warrior was going to drop the strap. He was my favorite wrestler at the time and thought he had huge momentum to head back to Wrestlemania headlining as a champ. I thought if anybody was going to take that belt it was either going to be Hogan or Macho Man. But never Sgt Slaughter. It was my WTF moment that year and I was so disppointed that the WWF ruined my favorite wrestler that I started watching NWA/WCW more and more. ...I'd only watch WWF once in awhile but thought that it wasnt the same (I was only a kid at the time) until the late 90's during the Monday Night Wars. I'd tape Nitro/Thunder and watch RAW/Smackdown.

I thought Austin beating Taker on raw in June 1999 was quite shocking. I was new to wrestling at the time, had only watched 1-2 PPVs at the most.
And whilst I knew they were going to happen, I was still shocked to see Eddie and Mysterio win the big one.

I wasn't surprised Nitro won, it was obvious they had planned Benoit to win, and that CM Punk needed to get over more before they gave him a world title. Nitro was already established and has held the IC and numberous tag titles, and its not like the ECW title is that prestigious.

That time Y2J won the WWF title on RAW only to give it back to Triple H after the commercial break.

the most surprising title win to me was when jeff hardy beat triple h for the ic title on raw many years ago.

HBK winning the WWF title (along with how he won) from Bret Hart at the 1997 Survivor Series
Edge pinning Cena at NYR also was a big surprise.

I thought the Edge thing at NYR was painfully obvious.
I would say either:
Jericho "winning" the belt on Raw in 2000
or
Austin winning the belt from Kane on Raw the night after Kane won the belt.

Diesel beating Bob Backlund for the WWE Championship Nash was 35, 6'11'. and 317 pounds. Backlund was 44, 6'1", and 240 pounds on a good day. Nash was a power wrestler with a high-impact finisher, Backlund was a technician with a submission finisher. Nash had yet to reach his professional prime, Backlund was over a decade past his. To be honest, the only "shocking" aspect of that match was its brevity. the most surprising title win to me was when jeff hardy beat triple h for the ic title on raw many years ago. It was Smackdown. I was there.

Yeah, but it was a House Show and Backlund only won the title that week.
How often does the WWE title change hands on a house show ? Never apart from that instance. MSG or not, it never happens.

DIESEL
It just came out of no where I mean back then I never had the internet so when I saw WWF Mania or Superstars (we didn't get RAW in the UK till 95) it was all brand new and it was like I was still kind of pissed Backland beat Bret and then out of no where Diesel is the champ,
Also when Jericho beat HHH but was later stripped of the title that was pretty surprising and while it sucked he got the title taken off him it was stuff like this that made RAW so great back then.

Edge winning against Cena or Eddie winning against Brock.
I would say Mysterio winning the WHChampionship but I think they made it pretty obvious he was gonna pick up the win.
