Can someone please explain what happened here as it is referred to frequently and it must've happened a few years ago when i temporerily abandoned WWE.  |

It was when Shelton first showed up on Raw after being on Smackdown for a while. It was a great way to get Shelton over and it was one of the most exciting moments on Raw in a long time. I'm sure you can see the match on dailymotion or youtube

yep.....granted, Trips was distracted. He was in the corner and had his back to Benjamin. Shelton hit a big time stinger splash and schoolboy'd Trips up for the 3. Was pretty amazing at the time. Wasn't it Austin who told Shelton to go out there and make a name for himself?

In his first match on Raw, he beat Triple H with a roll-up. Then a few weeks later, he beat Triple H by count-out after he catapulted him into the ring post.

Yeah, Triple H attacked Shelton backstage, and Austin told him to go out and face Triple H. It was awesome when he won. It's a shame what Shelton didn't go on to be a big star. They sort of gave up on him.

hopefully shelton becomes a main eventer soon I agree with you on that one, but shelton lacks the charisma and mic skills right now to ever be considered "main eventer". |

Unfortunately, he broke his hand mid-push, and has done little more than tread water ever since. |
