A lot of times, divas like Mickie, Melina, Beth, and Victoria put on better matches than a lot of the guys. Plus they are nice to look at, except the Manazon. So, I like womens wrestling for the most part.

Nothing's really changed in recent years, with the exception of hiring models and expecting them to turn into decent wrestlers while maintaining a certain look.
WWE in particular has abandoned many of their better women wrestlers for models/actresses-turned-wrestlers. Some of them do serve a purpose as managers or valets, but the depth of talented in-ring workers has decreased in recent years (for WWE).
Now, I'm not a big fan of women's wrestling but the occasional contest in years past with Trish, Lita, Molly Holly, Victoria and back to the days of Alundra Blayze and Bull Nakano, wasn't a complete waste of time. Trish's feud with Mickie a while back was actually one of the best women's wrestling feuds that I've ever seen.

I like women's wrestling and for once I applaud TNA for bringing in talented women like Amazing Kong for their division. I have a feeling we will see a rise in women's wrestling in WWE once TNA starts doing it well. As much as WWE doesn't see them as competition, could the non competition really have the better women's wrestling? Not to WWE.

Women wrestling don't draw.
Seriously, no matter what anyone says, in AMERICA, women's wrestling is meaningless. Instead, they should use the women in feuds and when they finally fight it means something. In the 80's, you could fill an entire colesium with the promise that in a main event if so and so loses, then this women and another will fight, like a co-main event.

I like watching Mickie, Beth, Melina and Victoria ( and sometimes Michelle McCool she looks like she's been improving) wrestle in the WWE. That's about it.
I like to watch Shimmer myself.

I'm a big fan of woman's wrestling. I highly enjoy it. I just wish that WWE let some of their women do more in the ring.

Ecw had some very good female talent which provided some of the most remembered angles in ecw like the lesbian kiss. its just another example of the E disappointing fans with wwecw

Ecw had some very good female talent which provided some of the most remembered angles in ecw like the lesbian kiss. its just another example of the E disappointing fans with wwecw Original ECW's women had no talent . so what are you talking about. A lesbian kissing angle is not talent or wrestling .so ECw never original did womens wrestling right from the start. it was just a stupid cat fight not wrestling .so ECW has not changed with women wrestling . the only women wrestlers who worth a damn in ECW where jazz & lita . the rest stunk & could not wrestle.E has not dissapointed with ecw women division because really never had one. so don't even try using that.

^ Well Beaulah had a pretty good match with Bill Alfonso. Beaulah is a lot more talented than the entire extreme expose combined!

I think women's wrestling in the WWE is pretty much a joke. I mean, they have a very talented line of women right now in Jillian, Mickie, Melina, Beth, and Victoria. Yet, they put women like Candice and Torrie over them. The talented women don't really get much time to show off their skills when most of the time they seem to put more effort into their matches than guys in the WWE. I don't think WWE's Women's Division has always been a joke though. There have been plenty of times when the women had much more entertaining matches than the guys. But then again, Women's Wrestling is my top priority in wrestling. Shimmer is ing amazing. I've followed it since the beginning and I'm going to the Oct. 13th taping tomorrow and I can't wait. They have the greatest female wrestlers in the world on their roster and I think they'll definitely go very far with their product.

I don't think its fair to group Torrie and Candice together like that. Torrie has done nothing for 7 years in her carereer and performs little more than 3 moves yet holds victories over Victoria and Jillian Hall. Candice is obviously taking this seriously and has an expanding repitoire. Candice is one of the most exciting divas to watch, because you never know what she is going to try next. (I personally find most of the divas movesets/matches to be very repetitive and predictable).
Maria is a problem. She is terrible in the ring and has regressed from her once promising matches. They need to stop her wrestling or move her over to SD. I'd give up on her ever being a good wrestler.
