You should all be praising RVD for charging only $30. He needs some cash, and its not like hes hulk hogan and raping everyone by charging $100+ for an auto.

Just met RVD yesterday. $20 NZD for Autographs aswell. Same with Christy & Raven. $20 FOR CHRISTY?! I can see twenty for Raven or Van Dam but who would pay twenty dollars to get Christy "God I Suck" Hemme's autograph?

From the sounds of it, RVD= The next Virgil. Yeah I'm gonna go take pics to see if I can get a similar Virgil-like pic

Why pay 30 bucks to take a pic with a pot head? I don't know, try asking the thousands of RVD fans.

It isn't like he's dirt poor now that he no longer wrestles.

When I met him back in 2000 (the morning of the Living Dangerously PPV), I only paid $10 for a Polaroid with he, Fonzie, and myself. He signed the photo, his first ECW action figure, plus the first ECW N64 game cartridge I'd brought along...for free.
He was one of the coolest, down-to-earth guys I've ever met.

tbh, I think autographs and pictures should be free. If he needs the money start wrestling or find a new career. at least his prices aren't that bad and he's not charging as much as Virgil(which is a real bunghole in real life.)

I have gotten Goldbergs, Macho Man's twice and neither of them charged. RVD is a piece of crap. Enough said. He's washed up and hasn't been good since the end of the real ECW.

That is a pretty standard price for an auto these days. Don't go if you feel you are being "ripped off." uh no it isnt $10 for a pic and $10 for an auto is pretty standard i'd say $15 is pushing it!

I love how a lot of you bash him and think it's ridiculous to charge for an autograph.....When you know that if you were in his shoes, you'd do the same ing thing. Anyone who says they wouldn't is a god damn liar. There's no problem with asking for a few bucks to sign some stuff and take pictures...

Well damn, thats wack. RVD should come back to the WWE. He's a superstar worthy of headlining a WrestleMania.

I think you are all missing the point of what actually occurs at these "signings". Promoters or store owners pay stars like RVD to appear at their place of business or convention. The promoter or store owner charges what he/she wants for the autograph. Stars are paid for their time and generally have nothing to do with what is charged for their autograph.
So I think that you are not being fair to crucify RVD for being paid for an appearance. Be upset with the promoter or store owner who is charging the high price.
